Totally agree Blunder. The Subi debate should be done and dusted.
The WAFC has ruled and that will not change. And we all know why.
Everyone get over it and move on.

Mr AFL wrote: There was an article I read a couple of weeks ago that said two midfielders were coming over to play in the WAFL next year. Does anyone remember their names? I think they were from over East.

Sam Fisher and Frank Anderson from Northern Blues mate. Fisher was on Sydney's list briefly and Anderson was close to getting drafted a few times.

I tell you what Freezin next season I'll make a point of seeking out ex Subi player Chris Bryan and tell him it must be pretty cruisy coming here to Perth not having to train as hard but take home pay is better. I'll let you know his response. ?[/quote]

LOL....considering Bryan has remained predominantly injury free at Perth compared to his time at Subi says it all TBH DD... but definitely ask the guy for sure mate....also ask him about Subi's method of payment too....might put an end to a few fella's opinions on here for good once and for all....

they care so much to complain about it being unfair on here but havnt got the time to write an email or a phone call to the WAFC.
nobody on here made the decision, it was the WAFC.

Why do you keep harping on with this same old tired line MO? We know why the rules have been changed and it's to curb Subi's dominance...I don't have a problem with the reasons why...I have a problem with targeting one club when the WAFC should bring in measures which applies to all clubs and gives everyone a window of opportunity to be successful instead of pushing my club down in the hope others will rise up.

100% spot on BC, all this wouldn't have happened if the WAFC didn't give $ubi the seating deal for 25 years. After the 5 years that was initially planned the WAFC should have maintained the seating arrangement but kept the money for annual distribution to all WAFL clubs as it was tax payers that built the complex.

exactly leedy
the windfall for them came into fruition once all the other clubs started to get poorer hence the success that has resulted which stems back to the early mid 2000's

Yep...I agree as well...particularly when the deal started costing Subi money towards the end of the arrangement when the economy fell away and they had to give seats back to the WAFC. 5 or even 10 years exclusivity then share the proceeds evenly between all clubs after that should have happened. Subi would still have made money over the bar but if all clubs contributed to the cost then profits from seats should have been distributed evenly.

"Ins and Outs" thread they reckon. Any danger of keeping the embarrassing Subi vs the World bullshit to the other 20 threads dedicated to that? Would love to know the confirmed ins/outs and rumours without trudging through 5 pages of Subi shit-slinging.
