The horse has well and truly bolted STT, im not sure where the likes of yourself were 10 years ago when the likes of myself, Swan 42, Swandog & Leedy and others were banging on about this on footygoss and nothing was ever done about them then or since and havent we all been proven to be totally correct in our concerns back in 2009!

This goes back over 20 years , Subi should never have been allowed to horde the Afl funds from Subi oval.
The damage has been done the cups and money is in the bank literraly.
Short of extremely radical disruptive action , I.e stripping Subi of it's assets and redistributing throughout the comp.( would never happen) or breaking them up ... more likely what needs to happen is the formation of some new super wafl clubs via mergers with million dollar cash bonuses with a higher salary cap and restrictions placed on Subi for a few years....subi might protest but who cares, judging by the piss weak turn out of their fans at the gf they could be easily steam rolled in any public debate , would no doubt end in the courts.

Back in 2003 they received a large (7 figures from memory) compensation package to (*leave) stop playing and training at Subiaco Oval.
That compensation package should have also included taking the bar out the back of the 2 Tier Stand and no seats deal but the weak as piss WAFC allowed them to keep them both plus receive a compensation package and yesterday is the end result of that.
Since that diabolical decision 16 years ago by the WAFC Subi have played in 13 GFs for 8 Premierships and would have won 6 in a row if Peelmantle hadnt have had to put an end to that bullshit, although the Subi hierarchy had the WAFC put that to an end with the player restrictions placed on afl aligned teams in finals....just a pity the WAFC were so short sighted not to do anything about the bigger maroon & gold elephant in the room!
You have to wonder why?????

Something should have been done at the end of last year. When you win the league, reserves and colts premierships they should not have been allowed to recruit marsh.for years we have heard about how bad subis junior zone is while they constantly recruit and win premierships.there needs to be a restriction of recruiting from other clubs and interstate.even reducing their points. No use giving other clubs more points or a bigger salary cap as most clubs don't have the money to spend on recruiting.

Perhaps a search party can be organized to find what ever happened to those 22 SF boys as well on Sun....also a few could look for 42 as well BH......one would of thought a Subi win of that ilk and SD winning the spoon would of induced the fella out of his hiding place.....

but before I get hung drawn and quartered by folk, not sure what the WAFL can do about a reserve player from another WAFL club taking a career defining risk by seeking a tsf to Subi because they fancy an opportunity to better themselves...surely Sokol's move could of easily....pardon the pun...."gone south"....as could of Heal's move as well.....

understand the need for the WAFL tightening on Subi recruiting of other players from outside comps like the AFL, VFL or SANFL ....but not another WAFL clubs reserves player??....all luck of the draw TBH for Subi taking the punt and any other WAFL club providing opportunity for another WAFL clubs reserve players...e.g. SF with Saunders, Pickett and Higgins are classic examples....

What is it that folk want from the comps "powers above"?....Subi not allowed to recruit at all for the next 5 years.....especially from outside footy comps....what else....Perhaps a reduction in player points for winning the flag of say 20 odd points....what else could the WAFL do?

The search party has been out for the last decade or more trying to locate the EFFC, can't have them doing too much.

As for banning subi from outside recruits, nah its not that hard to resolve, all you do is lower subi's salary cap and increase everyone elses, but to make it work you also need to pump more cash into all the other clubs via higher WAFC dividend, at lower subis.

Rather than go to the pub, just start a gofundme campaign for any credible information regarding the so called rorting of the system by Subiaco.

Money for a whistleblower.

If they have been cheating for the past 20 years someone will come forward for the money. League will be forced to deal with Subiaco.

Personally I do not think the issue is money. Subiaco looked so much fitter than South Freo, simply a result of hard work. They have an undeniable strong culture with great leaders. There were 2 - 3 players out there from Souths who looked like they were carrying a bit of weight for WAFL football.

Bazza....you mean the last 20 years trying locate the EFFC...but unlike you and the other Subi naysayers here, I solely blame EFFC for their current predicament...shitehouse decision making with the likes of Dunbar and Wiley since the glory days of Judge and Micale....not Subi's money...

SF were competitive all year, beat Subi in fact, yet come GF day they produced that effort of insipidness.....and that is Subi's doing?...Naagh don't buy it....agree about reducing Subi's onfield dominance through points and salary caps, but think it's way too late in finding a way in reducing Subi's current high level of expectations...well n truly set in stone now....which every other club should try and replicate....how?...not sure...obviously money helps...but also finding 22 players willing to turn up to footy match....esp a GF match helps tho....LOL...SF were embarrassing....simply embarrassing....3 goals for an entire match with their goal kickers and midfield....in the words of that Pauline Hansen meme...."please explain"

Stand the Test wrote: Guys do we plan a get together at a central pub next week to see whether we can get a crowd together who cares?
No names etc etc, we roll up and someone gets up and says what are we going up to do and see what happens. Not restricted to ozfooty people but maybe we all put out the feelers to get a crowd along. Maybe we have it at a club.

If there is interest I will take further,

Got to try something don’t we....the comp deserves it.

Yes the Wafl competition does deserve it.
I tried to organise something similar years ago and sadly it all fell over rather quickly :(
Rather than meet at a central pub somewhere, how about interested persons meet at one of the Wafl club grounds? Give said meeting very wide advertised exposure beforehand so interested peoiple can plan. If 2 or 3 meetings are needed, so be it. Maybe hold a meeting in the metro area and another in a regional location? But something needs organising! All this should have been done at the completion of the 2013 season and maybe a bit late now.
However would do no harm to try.
One feels this being the last roll of the dice to organise everyone coming together.
It's too important not to try!

So have the search party found EF yet , one place they won’t find them is a finals venue ! That’s what I call embarrassing, have a crack at a thrashing all you like but we made it there and your mob of also rans didn’t , as for the amrgin big fucking deal , WP got spanked last as well 3 goals 7 , who really cares. Always on the cards one million dollar mob with a wealth of performance coaches dieticians medical and rehab staff plus the talent fully rested up.

Never heard so much bullshit in my life overweight blah blah , they beat Claremont twice didn’t seem overweight then

As for the early win over Subi ffs , they have lost 1 game in 2 fucken years! Due an off day ... means Sfa.
