Leaving, being chased etc.

This is not just abt one club but all of them, Subi and others after Strnadica, players going to EF, Perth etc.

It seems that there abt to be an changing of the make up around most clubs.

With the extra team coming in next year there are bound to be more player movements than usual this summer. According to the article Kody Manning is looking to follow Mognahan to the Sharks, I wonder if any others will seek to do that. Whatever happens I think the darkest days are over for East Fremantle, they will improve a lot under their new coach even without any new recruits.

Hope you are right Mikeh, biggest recruit so far for EF has been Monaghan....obviously a tough task ahead of him, but has a proven track record as a coach, something EF obviously could do with after the Wiley era. Up to the players to jump on board, I guess getting Manning to play, would expedite Monaghan's values to the playing group some what....tho missed a lot of footy this year, so time will tell.

I think that the hint in the article is that WP may have a few issues with players leaving either to the WAFL or over the nullabor.

Without wanting this to get into another WP bash thread it seems that perhaps Valentine has a task ahead of him.

I know EP's pre-season starts on the 19th and I will be interested to see who fronts and who is a no show, that is always for me a good indicator.

And more good news for the Sharks is Boekhorst making a good recovery and could be playing in the opening match for East Fremantle next season.

Not looking good for West Perth..They have saved themselves from financial annihilation to face a possible player walk out.I remember the problems that east perth had in the mid eighties.To cut costs Mal Atwell cut players wages and sold off players.The result was the club survived financially but were easy beats for several years.
