FMD - a guy puts his own money into a sport which he follows and is passionate about..

And because it is not your preferred sport, he gets criticized. Give us a break.

jack; I bet you he liked marbles as a kid too; the point, is, that even allowing for his preference for the Union code, he has the money to support both sports.

And maybe while he was playing marbles, he developed a dislike of footy.

His money, his choice..................

$500,000 for the Premiers
$250,000 Runners Up
$150,000 Third
$100,00 Fourth.

Too true Bazza instead he pours squillions into some lame brain non event English invented game rugby comp featuring sides from Tonga, Samoa and such but have never seen him put a dime into our OWN INDIGENOUS SPORT AUSTRALIAN RULES FOOTBALL here in his home state of WA! Same goes for Hancock/Rinehart, Wright & co!

Yeah its mind boggling, running some dead rubber comp in a foreign game...must be costing a mint, what that could do to grass roots footy here, imagine the amount of good it would do to get more indigenous youth involved in well financed WAFL clubs.

That would be he OK if he wasn't always putting himself forward as "Mr True Western Australian" which he clearly isn't, employing a load of fly by nighters in a irrelevant foreign game from the Eastern States RSA and the South Pacific ahead of WA people is clearly proof he is full of BS.

Bondy pumped money into the WAFL as well as his passion Sailing love or hate him he did more for true WA local sport than this clown.

It might be his money but sure doesn't insulate him from criticism...
