It should only take a cashed up EP a year or two to get back to being competitive if you're not already with your ressies in the second semi. I feel for clubs like EF, SD and Perth who don't get the same advantages because they stayed true to their values and history, and didn't align themselves to an AFL team. But bouquets to you Grump for being realistic on this issue and publicly against the alignment from the start.

totally agree bc...they chose to enter the alignment yet AGAIN after being in financial troubles & AGAIN once they are cashed up they drop the alignment
how can they possibly be allowed to get any concessions - what a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Subi should ask for help; we have not won a flag for two years after all.

Spoke to our CEO about how to solve the $ubi problem. Now that they have a good colts and reserves side and the possibility that they are in two and possibly three grand finals in the same year it is time to say Subi is not allowed to recruit from outside your club.It seems the points and salary cap hasn't worked. If you can make three grannys then you don't need to recruit.

That was always your mantra. We have a rotten zone thus we have to splash the money around to recruit.

This coming from the biggest prostitutes in the WAFL. You'll bend over and take it for $ both back in the 00's and the last few years.

That second semi win by EP was a fantastic performance, but realistically if EP don't go on and win the GF now, in all honesty, it was all for what?.....Subi went thru last year practically unbeatable, yet didn't win the GF, so all those wins whilst great at the time, meant little on GF day....ditto for their league side this year

...as for Subi colts, they may have more 1999 boys playing than the rest, some clubs play best available irrespective of age, whilst some go young and develop.....not sure what all the fuss is about, big difference playing colts at 19 and seniors the next, who is to say any actually will be any good.....time will tell if they replicate their success from over age colts into seniors..........but then it is hard to promote these guys into your reserves or league when they are both sitting top of the table all year....

Yes we have some work to do win the grand final but just glad to watch a East Perth team play instead of a hybrid team.with no heartHopefully see a few of these playing league next year without list cloggers blocking their way.
