Just look at the ridiculous comments he made in this recording from Monday week. Swans for Grand Final lol, bagged the Fark out of Lyon & Freo and they beat last years grand finalist 6 days later. Gave Keunen a huge wrap and he gets towelled up by a 20 year old rookie the next week in Strnadica. The Johnson comment about should get a game.....plzzz turn it up.

Sorry - He’s had his day time to move him on.

Percy is a bit Swans biased hence the GF comment, I am WP biased and think we will be there v $ubi on the last day, but he has got his head around most of the stuff. RD, no current day journo attends all games but they still comment on them, not sure what you want him to do. I unfortunately wasn't at the Peel v WP game but I heard from a few that were there that Keunen was very good ???

With the greatest of respect I have no idea what age you are; but the assumption would be not very old. If the AFL Commissioners and the WAFC had a thousandth of a percent the passion the PJ had then the WAFL and other second tier competitions throughout Australia would be thriving.

PJ has forgotten more about footy than the vast majority of people involved in footy know about footy. As for being "out of touch with modern footy" more kudos for that. Would this be the same modern footy that the AFL are having meetings to try to fix?

You have absolutely no idea of how much he contributes in 2018. It would be outstanding for a person in his forties; let alone someone in their mid-eighties.

42 I’m aware he has helped out at Swans for sometime. Not sure if he’s still doing that as I haven’t sent my spies up that way this season. I would be interested to know what he does in relation to your comment “ You have absolutely no idea of how much he contributes in 2018”

BH - if you think I formed my opinion of PJ from his 10 minute segment 2 weeks ago you’re very naive.

Those that say he was spot on - Other than saying EF are in a poor state (blind Freddy knows that) what did he say that was spot on? Certainly got a lot wrong of which I highlighted a few points.

Maybe speak to Gault or Blakely (2) and ask their opinions of PJ. Are you aware of whether he has ever coached a school team?

You forgot his latest protege 42...Oliver Eastland who has improved immensely this season!

Also I wonder if RD actually was aware the best player at his beloved Fremantle was coached by Percy at Aquinas...probably not I would imagine!

PJ., has been a controversial and fair to say polarising figure on the WA Football scene since the 70s, or even before, his famous motor mouth on Ch 7 seemed to go without thinking at times and his actual coaching record wasn't that flash he got sacked a few times. He is pretty bias clubwise he loves EF and has of more recent times as a thing for SD, I used to enjoy he 6PR Saturday at the Football talk back show with Carvolth and clearly remember him being very prophetic about the introduction of the Eagles and the demise of the WAFL.
Regardless of whether you agree with him or not he;s defiantly been a WA Footy identity and lover of WAFL

Not much substance in your answer 42. Perhaps your emotions got the better of you. No doubt he has helped a lot of players at Swans which is great. BH I know he has helped out at Aquinas with football a number of years ago like a lot of others. Peter Van Heldon ex East Freo is still there I believe. The big Q is at the helm atm from all reports.

RD go back to de la Salle College in the late 60s/early 70s. BH would that include Fyfe as well?
