The starting price to sell each of the licences should be at the VERY MINIMUM $US500 million.

Swan I think the then Premier Brian Burke set up the Wafc.Is the Wafc a State Government Department.

My understanding is that the WAFC is a State Sport Association similar to Basketball WA or Swimming WA,.

Immediately impose a Transfer Fee for any player movement outside of the already imposed National Draft:-
ALL WAFL clubs legally & ethically deserve a fee for any player poached outside of the system forced upon grassroot states by the VFL.

Establish a limit moratorium on the number of "out of zone" recruits each WAFL club may buy per season:-
This sets an agreed limit on the number of recruits each club may recruit & imposes fairness , equality & the requirement that they cultivate their Zones as it has been traditionally intended.

Everyone on here wants a better WAFL comp. (The Wafl was going along quite well before all this alignment talk started. Then attendances started dropping, to the current point of being very worrying)

But if we had to go to WAFC with three demands what would they be? (Pointless making demands. The ‘comission’ is not answering questions because they cannot. One has to be asking, whose running the bloody football in this state? If the state governing body isn’t, it should be disbanded. A new Wafl advisory group needs to be implemented that has the Wafl’s interests as it’s main focus. To be made up of WA football identities whom are interested in the Wafl and needs doing now.)

I don't think we really care about the Peel/Freo tie up do we as long as they don't steal our flags. (The original reason of admitting the former club known as peel thunder has been lost and no longer relevant.)

We want EP back but the eagles are not going to spread their players across the teams so do we have to accept eagles reserves to get the Royals back? (Is it now too late is the question? Is all well and good to say, will be good to see the former club come back but it will be a basket case for a while. If big business employ their own team, it’s still only a training run. The exercise being a bit pointless. Will it earn premiership points for a “win” or not?)

Do we want the colts to be left alone now? (Most defineatly)

Do we want a written public equalization policy from the WAFC which actually equalizes and which actually rotates success rather than just making everyone equal (points, cap, grant) leaving some in reality more equal than others? (A poicy would be good I think. Doesn’t mean to say one will be be forthcoming.)

Do we want top lighting at all WAFL grounds to make Thursday night, Friday night football a new tradition?
(Has anyone bothered to ask the clubs if they wish to participate in night games, or have they been told to?
For clubs that wish night games, lighting will need upgrading. Not the best idea playing under training lights. Maybe re-use the lights from Subiaco Oval?

Great idea, but the cumulative effect would still mean Subi would still have more outsiders!

What I would want is EP back to the members.

WP out of the control of Venues West and at Kingsway

An understanding from all that the game and structures cannot stand still as some would like and I am guilty as others, sundays games really annoyed me but apparently the league game was one of the highest ratings along with the Tigers/$ game on the Thursday night. What are the changes that are needed all come down to the WAFC giving us a clear view of the game and its pathway.

That the womens game not allowed to intrude into the normal process, fine have a womens game that allows development but it is of such a deplorable standard it cannot be allowed to compete with the reserves or colts fixturing,

A complete and comprehensive of the financial structures and finances of the WAFC, WAFL and every club so that we all know where each club stands and where we need to improve the accountability structures.

And that it be priced to encourage attendance!

Problem is that after seeing the Membership figure rise substantially at the END of last season and what looked to be a ring-around crowd at our last AGM, I am afraid that the Membership may now be in the hands of the President to do as he bids.

I hope I am wrong

The WAFC was formed by the then ALP to take over governance from the WAFL and Indian Pacific.

The WAFC is an independent commission formed under a Constitution, making if subject to terms of the constitution. I am pretty sure the Sports Minister has the power to dissolve the WAFC.

That is my understanding as well.
I'm 95% certain it was answerable to the sports minister.
Stands to reason that will still be the case.

The WAFC Constitution gives the Sports Minister a permanent seat of the board of directors, some have taken it up some have not, but the Sports Minister has power to wind the WAFC up if they wish.
