If the WAFL want to survive, the need to sell the licences to WCE and Fremantle to the AFL. That will get rid of their interference at WAFL level and also inject some much needed cash to keep the competition and hopefully the non aligned clubs alive and set themselves up financially for years to come.

I've been saying this for nearly 10 years, glad to see someone else has cottoned on.

Also interesting that many on here bang on and on about the evil VFL, yet fail to question why the Eagles have 50 Million plus cash sitting their bank and the Dockers several Million, why has this been allowed to happen ???

How long do you reckon the WAFC spends talking about improving the WAFL at a Board meeting before they move on to AFL related issues (which normally involves making the WAFL worse)?

First time I heard Percy say he was concerned about the state of the WAFL this morning.
This is only because his beloved Sharks lack of effort in the past two weeks.
He also added that Claremont will be a good side and that Perth are going ok.
He also added that Subi are way ahead of everybody else because Schofield puts time into players.
I say that they have the resources to do that.

I didn't hear Percy Roman, but it sounds like he meant Schofield has time because he's sold his business and is now a full-time coach at Subi.

Percy has been saying he is concerned about WA footy since the late 80s. I remember him coming out with the same lines on 6pr Saturday at the Football with Carvolth in about 1987...same ol same ol.
