If the WAFC had a backbone they should be demanding more off these 2 leeches who can somehow stockpile $70+ million in the bank whilst also receiving $10's of millions of taxpayers and ratepayers money to build their shiny new training facilities!

Can't see a AFL reserves comp until a new tv rights deal.I expect then extra money could help a reserves comp especially if televised reserves games are on the agaenda.

Southener I'm pretty sure the commission as the licence holder of the 2 Afl licence's. Can sack both the Freo and Wce boards.Brian Burke set up the commission WAFC late 1980's.Is the Wafc a State governnent department. Does our state government own the licence for our 2',Afl clubs and the Wafc

Yes it is technically a government dept - Govt bailed out footy when the Eagles pretty much bankrupted our state footy & the WAFC was formed as a condition of the bailout process
That particular lot of creeps' board should have been removed entirely in 2007 onwards with the narcotics & criminal activity

It is actually not a bad thing getting rid of the Peel and EP problem.

The Commission could demand money from the AFL that just to consider it, and then of course reject it as inconsistent with the interests of WA football.

It is incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act and governed by a voluntary Board of Commissioners that oversees the operation of all football activities throughout the State. The WAFC features more than 100 employees spread across the State.

Right now we have thousands of religious and non-religious East Perth supporters alike praying feverishly for the AFL to bring back their Reserves competition.

Because I believe that if they do, it will mean the end of our alignment and we can go back to barracking for the "real" East Perth, not the "hybrid" version
