Looks like a fair few more WA boys have been taken in the Rookie Draft including- Banfield, England, Burrows, Baker & Narrier.

No Schloithe and Tom Lamb and Sam Collins missed out too.

Unbelievable how another Sandover Medallist misses out. Shame, West Coast & Dorkers.

East Perth supporters will breathe a sigh of relief that Lamb got the chop.

Cl have had 6 players drafted.....FMD and Perth want one of EF zones....how about knocking on Cl farking door......how in fudge Chris Scott from EF didn't get a look in.....good for EF, definitely fills a need up back for the club, but geez some of these AFL clubs makes some interesting choices....obviously Schloithe has burnt his britches during his time at Freo.....pity because he looks like he has learnt from his early mistakes....wonder how his motivation is now since his dream has gone.....

Freeze because of the ridiculous situation where you have an 18 team competition and 10 of the clubs are based in Victoria you are always going to get a bias towards drafting Victorians especially late in the draft or rookie draft as it costs them fark all to move and they are under theses clubs nose each and every week.
So many very good young footballers from WA miss out because of the lop sided nature of the comp unfortunately but hopefully they stick at it at WAFL level like the mature agers Kelly, Banfield, Guelfi, Ryan, Jones Garlett et al have done and finally been rewarded and dont get disillusioned at not being drafted at 18 as I have seen all too often!

Too true BH...can see a cashed up Cl having a bit of a splurge now....and even then their colts will play in another GF....can see the likes of Clarke, Suban, Collins, Boekhurst et al playing for the Tiges next year....or is Mitchell being paid annually what the club got from those 6 players getting drafted....amazing ability by a club to produce draftees year in and year out....

Amazing the number of those draftees that turn out to be the wrong call too Freezin, here are some names of the top of my head, Broome, Swift, Weedon, Hamp, Mitchell, Blackwell, Dericks, Benjamin x 2, Neates, Skinner, Peterson, Rudeforth, Browne, C jones, Ledger, Winmar, Laurie, Lee, Wilkes, Brabazon, Marshall, Belotti, Powell, Litherland, Gilligan, Crabb, Thomson, Cunningham, Morton x 3, Waterman, Stevenson... History shows we get a lot draftees but jeez sometimes I wonder why
