Those days are well and truly gone. When John Dimmer was coaching Souths, Subi & Souths held joint post game presentations at the host club premises, all were welcome. Good luck to Joondy, I guess with their new premises being tax/rate payer funded they don't need to make the effort to maximise their bar takings.

I wonder if tax/rate payers are funding Broughton and DeLuca apparent move to WP....

Those days actually aren't gone at all.

Access to the rear members bar and stand is actually still restricted to SFFC members only and members guests, there is normally a steward on the walkway that restricts entry, however they only operate at the start of the game, it is not heavily policed as much through the game as staff resources are limited.

After the game, post match some clubs are Invited as guests to attend presentations, this is not the case during the game.

Personally I and a lot of other SF get mighty annoyed when visiting supporters weasel their way into the SF members area and start shouting for the opp, there is an area for them in the front bar section of the club.

Club membership is exactly that - for members, I don't want or expect entry to other members areas when I visit unless invited as a guest. EFFC have the Shark Pit which I have gone to from time to time, they have very little security, but I don't go into the club until after the game.
