well...the WAFL website is still showing Leederville for the venue of the 2nd semis so I guess any disgraceful attempt by FART to have it moved has failed....at this point anyway.

Lol who started the bullshit rumour, looks like Subi supporters jumping at shadows already. Surely Subi won't choke and lose after being so dominant and winning 19 straight.

I think you'll find the Game Committee, lead by EF own Todd Shimmon, had a big say in the season being reduced to 18. Its seems most clubs, bar SD, endorsed it. If they aren't making money at home games- they're doing something wrong!

Maybe there was a need to look at investigating 18 Home and Away Game seasons, but this was done all too easily in my book. :( :woohoo: :pinch:

The very LEAST they should have done is investigate why every club save Swans loses money on home games.

Raponi makes very good point in Letters To Editor of today's West.
Should make him a commissioner.

Grassy wrote: Great letter by Brett and Yes,he should be on the WAFC Board.

But he needs a Majority Back-up to turn the tide,so he's not banging his head against a Brick Wall for starters!

Interesting comments in his letter today. HOWEVER, the media reports are that it was ONLY Swans that opposed the reduction to 18 games. If any West Perth supporter can confirm whether WP were against the reduction, please let us know.

It wouldn't be too difficult to conclude that the club formerly known as East Perth SPONSORED by Channel Eagles would have supported the reduction. Ditto the joke that is Peelmantle. Again one can conclude that Subiaco would see a reduction in games as an enabler to continue their domination of the WAFL.

I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that rather than a slow and painful death by a thousand cuts we should just let the WAFL die a graceful death sooner rather than let it suffer at the hands of the VPL and the WAFC.

There was an interesting letter next to Raponi's about the future of Subiaco Oval. More tears should be shed over the demise of the WAFL than for Subiaco Oval.

Good article by Townsend that outlines the absolute debacle that has been supported by the inept WAFC
