Mo's post about the shortage of ruckman, let alone star ruckman, promptted me to put this one up. By star ruckman I mean the player made a genuine difference to whether his side won the flag. Top Ten:

gtr: I did not include the SD lads because I felt that the sides were good enough to win without a ruckman; feel the same way about Paul Harding at EF.

I remember big Alan playing well in the finals for SD

Lb: I remember all of those boy. I think big Hooper played with Subi as well? Did you rate Shane Cocker?

LB: I agree -- he was great at Subi; we needed him as we had lost Laurie Keene and Phil Scott; Cocker was unlucky in his time with the blue blacks because of the queue of ruckman in front of him at the time.
