And why would anybody give a rats about his opinion?

Having natural footballing ability doesn't make him knowledgeable about other matters...it merely makes him a great athlete with good genes

Let the oaths and the athletes do what they are good at....bang into each other and pick up a piece of pig skin....I don't care for their opinions

He called for shorter qtrs too. Shorter package all round, keep the players fresher therefore higher standard. Same pay of course. He is the players pres after all...

AHH LH, he probably cares even less about yours.
What is wrong with players having an opinion on how the game can be played or should be played. Aren't they entitled to an opinion as much as you or I.A lot of them aren't OAFS, some are much smarter than those of us here.
Funny how we think of ourselves as experts, yet those who have played the game should not have an opinion.
I shake my head some times.

Shake your head by all means mate.

How many WAFL games did he play?

His interest in WAFL equals mine in Fremantle. That's why I don't buy into the Dockers debate. I don't know enough about them so why would I give an opinion?

But rest assured, if it comes to rule changes, coaching strategies, kicking techniques etc...I'm all ears...a footballer is the go to.

of course the Pav will suggest an AFL ressies comp and an elite Colts programme...according to the AFLPA Pres all roads lead to the AFL and who gives a toss about the 2nd tier comps. he's entitled to his opinion but why would anyone canvas someone in his position and expect a well balanced view which takes into account all stakeholders? it's the promotion and well being of the AFL and its players which is foremost in his mind.
