LH: Your correct about extending the length of kicks in the code, in addition, as I have always argued they should ban handball from free-kicks or marks. The game has turned into a combination of soccer and rugby which is totally unedifying. The one thing we could learn from soccer, which the AFL refuses to copy, is FIFA"s determination to avoid rule changes. Soccer has had only one: the back pass to the goal keeper.
