Personally I would take any Eagles' comments about working with the local WAFL clubs with the proverbial grain of salt. When did the Eagles last do something which was for the benefit of the WAFL competition?

Simple Bazza: the Eagles have adjuncts in The seven West Media and WAFC. Hence, what they want; they get. There maybe a minor setback occassionally to provide the facade that they don't make the decisions; but as sure as it is likely to be hot during our summers, the Eagles run WA footy.

I get the seven West Media thing , but make no mistake the Dockers are as corporate, thugish and clinical when it comes to getting what they want.

Well said bazza. The dockers are a club that virtually forfeited peel in their first final, and once had two or three players rock up at half time to play in a wafl game. They are not the good guys.

18 Games a season,with supposedly a raft of WAFL Clubs,arguing we should prepare to tighten up even more before the new Stadium opens up.

Until the AFL Clubs sell their licence(which will take forever,if at all)they should continue to fork out to the Commission,much more than they bleat about,with their Overseas Bank accounts.They may have outgrown the Swiss Bank.What was that exemption they wanted on the Charity Dollar lately.Anything else you lot want?

Good on Swans,Perth and West Perth for staying with 20.Peelmantle and East Perth Eagles almost don't count.They just do as they're told.
