LOL..ok he goes MO...reading between the lines..the kid due to circumstances was living a loose cannon lifestyle, which obviously the AFL soon realised the SDFC and his immediate family were finding dificult to manage, thus the AFL steps in and removes the boy to Victoria, away from this mismanaged lifestyle to one where he can be closely and better managed?.....am I close MO?.....yeah thought I was!

he wasn't go to play for SD but he was going to play for the other SD..yep got it......fark it's bad enough there being one set of SD fans in Perth let alone another set as well...

Freezin life would be very boring for you without the repartee with Swans' supporters.

Freezin I AM NOT speaking to this specific and particular person in this discussion; however, I can say that Swans is represented by our WAFL league, ressies, colts teams, Women's league and ressies teams, 16s and 15s rep teams and a team in the amateurs.

I will rely on you to do some research with respect to the amateur team. If you want a hint: consult the 2010 Swans' GF victory.

18's play the Curtain Raiser before the State game.
Lets hope they perform a bit better this year.

Article in the West today

au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/281919...st-for-wa-under-18s/

which in part says

Returning WA under-18 coach Andrew Lockyer doesn’t know what his team is capable of this year, but has promised it will be competitive when it kicks off the national championships against South Australia tomorrow.

WA have named a team with nine AFL Academy members — captain Greg Clark, Callum Ah Chee, Jordan Snadden and bottom-agers Sam Petrevski-Seton, Sam Powell-Pepper, Jeremy Goddard, Josh Rotham, Noah Hura and Luke Strnadica.

Of the players named, Petrevski-Seton (Claremont) and Levi Ridley (Swan Districts) have also played league football in the WAFL.

Site for the U18 Info our WAFL site seems to be lacking a lot of this stuff :(

www.afl.com.au/draft

If you go down the page lots of articles on the comp etc

Found this one interesting - a video of players who were in draft when teens..A least one WEST Aussie snuck in B)

www.afl.com.au/video/2014-09-30/our-star...ous-draft-camp-teens

Heres the 2nd part of the WA U18 Squad as well ... seems to missing from my SQUAD post above?

From my point of view the squad is a very good one and we can all be very proud of our clubs efforts to develop the young players.

I think that there are some outstanding young men going to be out on the field to represent the WAFL. Also it seems to me that the coaches have had a good focus on team and about being part of a team as opposed to last years efforts which saw the boys often play 'mates' football.

Stephen Armstrong was EP's state affiliated coach, each coach had a group of temas they had to help and monitor. He, Stephen, did a great job and helped our coaching staff a great deal.

I am obviously pleased with our boys, Bayok Tahir, Ajang Ajang both from Ellenbrook, and Sam Powell-Pepper from Mt Hawthorn and Wesley.

SPP is a real talent and will develop with the level of tutelage he will get at our level and state level. He will learn to play the game at a team level instead of being the main focus and having to win the game off his own boot.

I hope for all of the WAFL teams development processes that we have a good carnival.

Agreed GRUMP... Big game today v SA Reigning title holders and it will give a good indication of where we are at.. Vic Country next week and they are always very competative.

Good article on whos who and chances.. Obviously SA favourites but that could change

SA begins quest for three-peat in WA as 2015 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships fixture is revealed
SOUTH Australia will begin its push for three successive division one titles when it opens this year's NAB AFL under-18 Championships against Western Australia in late May.

The AFL has released its fixture for this year's under-18 carnival, with division one games again spread over six rounds in a home-and-away format.

After claiming back-to-back wins in the past two seasons, the South Australians will travel to Lathlain Park in Perth to face Western Australia on May 23 in the first game of the tournament.
