Although it is great to have 7 back for TV. , the radio coverage is not acceptable, it appears we are down to just 720 and 6ix digital,,,when 720 does afl there will be no WAFL from them.

Surely the WAFC could of secured sport fm and got 6 RPH back with some big sponsors like mcdonalds involved , these community stations would do coverage for a song...there's also pirate fm now.

It was reported today that the eagles and dockers now have over 51 million cash in the bank combined ,mthust in credulous as to why ? Virtually nothing is coming back to the community.

Yes Bazza I agree about the radio coverage. The slack commission should have made radio broadcasting a priority after the tv debacle! ABC radio do an excellent coverage. But like last season they might fall asleep some weeks and many rounds not broadcast 990 has fallen off the perch which is very sad to see!
Broadcasting Wafl on fm or digital radio is fantastic for people in the metro area, but bloody useless to everyone else. How many radio stations in WA? Would there be about 100? Surely in this day and age, rural radio stations could do a live link up with a Wafl game broadcaster for country people? Despite what people say, the Wafl is one sick puppy

It is available,im listening to it now SD v Perth,Glen Mitchell is commentating.
I have a little digital radio and it just shows up as KIX CTRY,no dial number or station number is indicated.

91.3 do the wafl also but they are not doing it this weekend because they are covering the Shield final in Tassie.

During the coming season, if you are going to a match that will be on 6IX Digital, don't bother taking your radio as there is a 7 seconds time delay.

That is, unless they have changed it since last season.

Hot country digital is 6IX WAFL coverage. What happened to sport fm?

Who's the knob who keeps continually posting Sport FM are not covering the WAFL anymore ffs it is only this weekend due to their coverage of the Sheffield Shield Final!
