You are seriously crap for this diatribe, have a look at the lists at every club and there are a lot of migrants, sons and grand sons of migrants. Most of them probably still speak their native tongue at home and observe their on traditions the same as the current batch of folk.

Keep your narrow minded and biased crap to where it deserves to be!

Grump,

I have met many a left winger in my day and I find that many of them hate either themselves, their life, their Dad, or most people. Because of this they have a tendency to attempt to make them selves feel better by batting for who they believe (often erroneously) aren't getting a fair go.

I consider myself to be centre left. My voting life has seen me vote evenly for both labour and liberal.I would say I am pretty balanced as to the good and bad in society. Not amazingly but pretty.

Your response to my post was way over the top.

First I had a thinly veiled criticism of the English who for mine too often come over here and attempt to replicate home. It was satellite tv and man united in the past and is now fox and man united.

Just an observation of what happens now compared to what happened prior to satellite and fox, certainly nothing for you to get upset about. I would say my two of my favourite people are from the uk btw. So take it easy here.

Secondly my second thinly veiled criticism of radical islam is clearly pointed too radical islam. Radical islam is something that concerns me greatly. This is not to say I am offensive to muslims. indeed a family of muslims live next door to me and I cut their sons hair whenever i am cutting my sons hair and spend long periods with the parents discussing numerous issues. We like each other.

I have no apology in being aware of radical islam, and I think it is a shame that a lot of English that come here just watch English footy on fox or satellite.

If you think the english can't handle a criticism of them not being interested in australian football and only interested in english football - then get a grip. If you are not concerned with radical islam - well enjoy your ignorant bliss.

But if calling my posts diatribe and narrow minded makes you feel better then thats ok as well.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

TFAF can't blame the Australian resident poms for watching the Premier league on Fox......it's that or watch the shite quality put out by the likes of Perth Glory or Melbourne Victory most weekends  .....I lived in the UK for 15 years and still watched more Aussie Rules games than soccer games, not because I was being ignorant, just that soccer was never an interest of mine growing up in Perth, where the WAFL comp was a tad more interesting to watch than following the likes of a Floreat Athena play in the winter......soccer is as ingrained into the English ethos as Aussie rules is into the Aussie ethos......other ways to immerse oneself into the local culture other than sport too!

fantastic to see your are willing to engage with other cultures through your hair salon though mate ;) ..highly commendable!!..... because for a moment there, it really seemed as though you may have never ever been outside of Australia and were living a very insular lifestyle like those Fox watching poms & radical islamics you were directing your thinly veiled sarcasm at
