I feel honoured to be named amongst such esteemed company BH......my youngest son who is more into the AFL than the WAFL said to me the other day....."to keep you company dad in regards to chatting about the WAFL next year, I will pick a team"........here's me thinking he will go for EF?....nup.... he goes and picks the bloody SDFC!!!.....you gotta laugh I guess  ......have a good xmas everyone.....here in NZ it's time to have our xmas feed so enjoy your day what ever you do!!

Great stuff freeze we will have to organise a Swans jacket or hoodie for your young fella to proudly parade around the home & around Christchurch!! ;)
Speaking of which before the Boxing Day Test started I was watching a bit of the NZ vs SL Test, I must say it is great to see Test Cricket back being played in Christchurch albeit at a different venue Bagley Park due to the unfortunate demise of Lancaster Park. (aka Jade/AMI Stadium)

yeah Hagley Park is a beauty BH.....centre piece of ChCh....I'm going to day 2 of the test with a few NZ mates......hopefully Sangakarra is batting by then and smacks them all over the place :P ....the ground fits about 15000 from memory....reminds me of one of those quaint Surrey/Hampshire village grounds I played cricket on in the late 90's during my time in the UK.....centre piece of the village with the pub more often than not called "The Cricketers Arms" located just over the road, for that mid innings break or after match pint or 3!! :pinch:

Hawkes Bay wear black n white in the rugby here mate.....my son would cop a pasting from the the parochial red and black cantabrians here in ChCh by mistake.....they are even more feral than the SD fans  ......but not as feral as the Collingwood fans tho ;) just send him a signed pic of Tallen and he will be stoked!! :cheer:

Hagley Park sorry freeze my bad  ..I'm gonna blame those dozen or more quality Feral Hop Hog stubbies from yesterday for that brain snap!!
And yes it is a lovely looking English style cricket ground I must say ...there must be a Cricketers Arms in most places around the cricket playing world as I have definitely had a beer or 3 at the Melbourne & Sydney versions we just need one to open up now around the WACA vicinity!! :cheer:

Hagley? Bagley? doesn't really matter mate.....it's only a Kiwi cricket ground we are talking about  ......I might just use the name Bagley to wind a few kiwis up tomorrow....

....though the way McCullum is batting at present he might be 500 at stumps!!....McCullum only knows one way.....and that's pin the ears back and take the aerial route.....though Hagley is only match box size!!
