Larry out of all the EP supporters on this site Jardine has garnered the most respect because he has principles and is willing to speak out against the sham which is the EPFC atm.

I have not spoken to one East Perth supporter in favour of the alignment. But I respect those that decided not to support the club anymore. I have even more respect for those that continue to support the club and its players with a hope of a bright medium term future. People like Jardine with no insight who just pluck the low hanging fruit and attack with no loyalty to his team sicken me. Get involved attend functions, AGM's talk to the board like I do rally for your club back. I wouldn't piss on people like Jardine if they caught fire. You guys can respect who you like I choose to respect people with a bit more substance.

Of course you would believe that because like the majority of contributors on this Website you are an East Perth hater and would say anything in opposition to what a true East Perth supporter would say.

It would be interesting to know what your position (and that of all other East Perth haters on this Forum) would be IF in the hypothetical situation it was YOUR team aligned to West Coast. Would you, like Jardine, desert them like a rat deserting a sinking ship and start to sprout pure poison or would you stick with them and hope for the best particularly if you have followed them all your life?

I can see where you are coming from, but I would like to add that other clubs have had the alignment and got rid of it. Claremont after just one year and South. EP has never made any effort whatsoever to end the alignment.

So you are saying that between 2002 and 2013, East Perth were still aligned with West Coast? Funny, nobody bothered to tell West Coast and East Perth.

And that still doesn't answer my question to Peter North.

If Perth align with WC in the future there is no way I would support the club formerly known as Perth it would cease to exist in my mind, as the club formerly known as EP does now, yes yes the name EPFC is still there but the club is soul less and the proof was there grand final day when only one team played for the jumper that day.

Nothing has pissed me off since the GF except for stupid ignorant comments like this.

The result was a shock...
East Perth gave up....
East Perth were raging favourites.....
Only one club played hard or played out the game.....

One Time Only: I did not realise one had to be so literal when making a point: the Commission made you give it up in the years you mentioned, it certainly was not your club's doing. Now you answer a question, please: Why is EP so different from Claremont and South Fremantle? If you do reply, please put it on the EP thread. Thanks.

OTO I have already said that if Swans decided to get in bed with the devils incarnate that would be the end of Swans and as such I would not support a prostituted and destitute shell of a club. I don't hate East Perth; East Perth doesn't exist anymore. Fewer that 12,000 attended the WAFL GF this year. Of those 12,000 probably 3,000 or more would have left the ground before the league GF started. Contempt is what I have for those people who made the decision within the WAFC and the hierarchy of the club formerly known as East Perth. They deserve the opprobrium directed at them and will continue to deserve same until the decision is made. Only those who wish to be deluded would believe the Eagles have any interest or care what happens to "East Perth". They will be discarded at the whim of the Eagles.

Let no-one think that the GF crowd was significantly impacted by the rain. The incontrovertible and indisputable fact is that the WAFC knew there was going to be a poor crowd; they made a decsion to cordon off the upper tiers to ensure that the crowd would be herded into a smaller area to try to artificiallybuild an atmosphere.
