today's west Australian has a back page story on sheedys all time great noongar side - so far. what's the point in having a story on an unfinished story? he has only picked ten players so far, do the story when he has picked a whole side. and how can the krackouer brothers not be picked yet?

It was the WAFl who sold our football down the tube.Get out the History of WA football and see how we were sold out.Walker and some other Eastern Stater sold us out.

Sheedy had nothing to do with it.

All of these big vfl personalities thought and continue to think of the vfl not the national game. We are done unless we wrestle back some control off the vics.

It is a complete and utter insult to WA and WA legends the likes of Todd, Cable, Walker, Farmer, Moss, Brown, Whinnen, Michael et al to be asking a bloody Victorian like Sheedy his Noongah Greatest Side Of All Time!

A/man on what basis do you make that assertion? Would he know more about it than the following:

Percy Johnson;

Mal Brown;

Dennis Commetti;

Bill Dempsey;

John Cooper;

John Todd;

Brad Hardie;

Billy Walker;

etc etc etc.

Also, it has nothing to do with my alleged hatred of Victorians. It has more to with the fact that his knowledge is very much limited by the fact that he has not lived in WA, and hence not able to see many WAFL games, since he started coaching Essendon in the early 1980s.

How could you possibly assert that a person who has been domiciled in WA for a very limited time would know about the WAFL than those who have been involved in the WAFL for decades is beyond my comprehension!

As for your suggestion "that most AFL coaches . . . know about ALL senior football played all over Australia" - which AFL coaches are not in that category?

Once again it has nothing to do with him being a Victorian other than the very obvious observation that he is not as well placed as a West Australian to select this particular team. For example, how many decades experience has John Todd got with respect to the WAFL compared to Sheedy?

Finally, a very apposite observation with respect to your point of view - don't let FACTS get in the way.

The fact that Sheedy was playing every Saturday in the VFL from 1967-1979 and then coaching VFL every weekend from 1980-2007 & again from 2012-2013 shouldnt be a problem in him being able to pick a WA Noongar side of all time you would think S42, I am positive Sheedy could tell us all about the WAFL career's of the likes of Stephen Michael, Keith Narkle, Larry Kickett, John McGuire, Wayne Ryder, Kevin Taylor et al !!
