I also have a quarter of the 1973 grand final which I want to upload just so people can witness the brilliance of Keith Watt.

Ben suggest you get in touch with WAFLVideoarchives via their site above.. they are looking for material and would most probably do it for you as they have the gear.

They would most probably put it on their Youtube channel as well if you requested it.
I know they have been pretty busy and it is a very time consuming task as taking it off tape to DVD is done in real time so it takes a while.

I did it with a few tapes I had of my son growing up and family stuff I had put on tape. I found quality not as good but that is expected when taking off tape.

There also commercial mobs that advertise who will do it. Not sure of cost
Not even sure of the firm/firms but you see it all the time e.g Transfer your tapes to Disc etc.

Anyway leave you with it. Just a couple of options

ps thanks for the John Duckworth video :)

Ok thanks, will look into the options mate.

Yeah inspirational footage of Ducky playing for Centrals.

They were newer to the SANFL in 1979 than what Peel are in the WAFL now.

But Ducky and others lifted Centrals up and dragged in the fans as well.

Yeah very slim although in fairness to WA, the WC and FD coaches have never really made all the best players to be available. So many "injured" players that week.

Interestingly the one win was when Malthouse was coach and miraculously that day a large number of WCE players were fit.

Yes some good players on both sides. Ahh yes that's right Señor Seinor. I remember that discussion we had.

How's about the drop kicks that Melrose was unleashing. Absolutely superb.

Yes is pronounced Seenor not Senior.
Also was left wondering who Barry Peake was. ;)

Yes, I remember you telling me about that. I just heard the commentators but never really looked properly at the spelling until you mentioned it.

I know it's not a Spanish surname but in my dear old Argentina they would pronounce it Say-in-or.
