Subiaco came starts at 4:05pm so I would say there broadcast would kick off half way through the second quarter as soon as the Perth game finishes.

So 720 ABC will broadcast WAFL games even though there are AFL games going on at the same time? Or is it on one of their digital stations?

6IX Digital? So if you have no digital radio???

How can the ABC cover so many games plus AFL?

Pity 990 Was pretty much the best coverage with good reception, Sport FM has a dodgy crap reception.

No support, they hand out several hundred thousand in development funds to WAFL each year, plus now the host club cash, plus paying certain salaries, they fund the budget which must make a massive loss each year, they fund the website, I have actually seen adds, in the West and at AFL games on the big screen, They Pay the ABC for covergae ( despite it already being Tax Payer funded ie no sponsors support )it goes on and on and on, and the money comes from AFL dividends,,,how much money does WAFL actually raise for itself? if the WAFC funding was cut off how long would WAFL last if left to its won financial devices..?? Not friggen long, You cant pay many bills getting 1500 people through the gate each week and running raffles.

Why dont you put up the 5000 bucks and sponsor the call if you reckon its such great value.

Good idea, but there simply isn't enough active members on here to fund such a thing.

There are plenty of crowd funding project websites that could be explored though. Maybe 990 could look into this?

Yes that is very sad news indeed. And apparently 2014 is being seen as the biggest and most important Wafl season in recent memory.
With the very controversial alignments, all eyes will be on the competition to see just how this new era of WAFL pans out. The exposure will be very limited. Don't expect Wafl broadcasts on ABC radio except on the odd occasion. which will further detract interest and lose the entire state-wide audience. Hardly a good look for a footy competition is it? 6IX digital probably do a good job which is great if one lives within the metro area. How are people in the rural areas supposed to listen to the wafl radio broadcasts?

Who the fuck said 720 was going to cover WAFL today?,,,, it was wall to wall afl, I could not even get a score, there was not one single WAFL game on normal radio today. Screw the digital stuff Hopeless,
