As much as I try not comment on things WP I feel that firstly I should offer my support to Raponi in his new role.

I am still worried that he will continue in his shortsighted approach that stills sees a great club like WP shafted by the JCC and Venues West. I realise that the WP supporters think they are getting this that and the other at Joondalup but at the end of the day you still won't control your venue an will still be at the behest of the owners and representative's.BDO and other instances proves who controls the venue and he has 3 years to forge a better relationship and outcome for his club and supporters.

If he is the real deal he will do something abt JCC, ground rationalisation and financial management in the WAFL/Clubs.

I wish him luck but still worry abt the next 3 to 5 years and were we will all be with WA Football.

Dont think all those issues are his to sort. Has done a good job getting Joondalup council to work with them. Also new club room where they will have total control is a good for munchers.

Total Control is a big statement and as much as I wish it were true I don't thing VW and JCC will give up on a money generating site, the other thing is that this being promised by who ....... local pollies and state pollies who can't lie straight bed, sorta like most bottom feeders.

To think it all his work is admirable but he and the club only get what the JCC and VW give them.

Grump, wp will have total control of their bar sales in the very near future much like subi & it's bar set up, they will also have offices located near the players race, VW won't be involved.

Never a fan of anyone Red and Blue (except Brian France), but Brett seems to do some things very well and I hope that he does the right thing by the WAFL and ALL of the clubs.

Early last year he was calling on the G7 Presidents to boycott, forfeit and disrupt the WAFL alignment clubs. Put a lot of pressure on Raitt to do something.

He has now been in charge of the WAFL presidents for 3 months and has been very quiet. Other than a few pot shots in The West he has shown no signs of the bravado he showed when he wasn't in charge.

So is he going back up his own comments and opinions from 12-14 months ago or is he just going to sit on the sidelines?

What the hell do you want him to do? being the WAFL presidents chairman does not give him some almighty power to change this scam of the alignment.. I think you will find he is sick of talking about it and has moved on knowing it will turn to shit all on it's own..

Dont worry Brett is still having a say.. He was on WAFL World last week - podcast on 91.3 but couldnt help but notice when he spoke of our game comming up he called the Peel side the Fremantle reserves side.. etc.. He has to be subtle and lets be honest whatever he does wont make a difference. The alignment is signed sealed and delivered and he must adhere to the arrangement at this stage.
