if they love the club as much as you say, then they will have no probs playing reserves when WCE push their boys forward over them......as for your mate Paul....well 2019 do you really think Johnsons gonna jeopardize his 6 figure pay packet telling you, me or the average Joe the truth?......but hey let them all stay at EP.....got no probs with that.....loyalty is hard to come by these days......

I agree with everything you said Tiger of old summed my feelings up about the alignment etc. To speculate on what people's earnings are and question their motivations is at best poor form at worst you start to tread into legal areas. Absolute nonsense by people with delusions of grandeur if they think they know how this alignment will pan out. Probably not as bad as we all fear but who knows, fair to assume players like Johnson, Smith and Lee won't be playing reserves though that is a ridiculous statement.

One would assume that something in the order of 10-15 AFL aligned Eagles' players were playing for other WAFL club's league teams during the season. Probably a similar number for Freo. If they are all going to be playing league for the club formerly known as East Perth, it would appear that a similar number of players who played for the club formerly known as East Perth will not be able to play in their league team next season.

Jimmy Boag wrote: Bloody hell! Anyway you look at it, the "ins" for both East Perth & Peel beggar belief. East Perth made the GF this year, add those players to that side and they are near enough to going through 2014 undefeated. Even Peels gains should see them in the top 3 sides. How to kill a comp !!!!

Its not all doom and gloom Jimmy, what isnt listed for East perth and Peel is the outs. If all those players are joining those clubs then surely some players will leave rather than being pushed to the reserves. Good WAFL clubs and their recruiting managers will already be looking for these players.

Oh and the WAFL isnt a comp any more mate, its a breeding ground for AFL footballers

Yes but their ins list is not finished yet by a long shot.
