According to the West, Tarryn Thomas has been offered a two week trial at Swans. Will fly to Perth tomorrow for a chance at a lifeline. Not sure how to feel about this one.

Gee, that’s a hard one.  If he has genuinely reformed, go for it, but if it’s just a facade, no.  I wouldn’t like to be on this selection panel.

That should make the AGM ibteresting on Thursday.

Geez, that is a huge gamble. Talent is enormous but the risks outweigh IMO. A huge job ahead for the leaders of Swans on and off the field.  For me the downside of this gamble could have very high repercussions for the club. 
Anyway, good luck. A very brave move.

Where's Sydney Stack?

According to a TV news bulletin tonight, Swans have backed away from the arrangement. Not sure who thought it was a good idea

Where did you see that? Nine news said the Northern Bullants had backed away from taking him. No mention of Swans.

Swans CEO just on SENWA and confirmed that will be training tonight at Bassendean.

My bad, I was just going on something that another person said.
I have to say as a Swans supporter that the club is walking a very dangerous path here. Apart from the risk of Thomas reoffending, there is also the message that his recruitment would send to people about the clubs attitude towards Domestic violence, the potential loss of sponsors and also the possible impact on the other players, male and female. 
Also apart from Krakouer, Swans don't have a great success rate with these type of recruits. Sydney Stack is the most recent example. I agree with the principle of giving someone who has slipped up a 2nd chance but Thomas has been given multiple chances in the AFL system and not taken any of them. Not sure how Swans think that this will be any different
