From the bits I saw on my phone,SA looked like they were playing a different game. Rebound from defence was effortless. 

Did we get tactics wrong? Picked the wrong team? Or are the crow eaters just producing better players than us? If so, why?


We only just lost a few years ago. We lack forwards. We can't pass the ball. We can't run. No big key backs.  Murdock the only one who looked comfortable. 

And I can't be the only one that thinks the best team not selected?
All irrelevant now I guess!

Heard on the telegraph wire that McLennan has won the Fos Williams Medal for being best on ground for the South Australian team.

this is the type of result that gets roughly handed to you when you select an absolute no hoper as the coach
the scouting mission the fool did was actually to a local SA McDonald's carpark given the bizarre player selections and the sheer amount of talent just ignored
and then there were the positional stuff that was pretty laughable just as laughable as his game plan , of which cunningly he didn't have
you see us mere mortal plodders would not have thought to just go in without any semblance of order

Time to can this rubbish once and for all. VFL lost interest long ago and obviously no currently employed coach has been interested for a long time. Used to go to the reigning premiership coach and I can't remember the last one to coach a state team.

I think before the unemployed Shepherd it was the unemployed Michael Broadbridge.

This result shows how far behind the WAFL is to the other AFL states. No young talent coming through and too few WA players making at the AFL Drafts.

SFA talent being produced and the standard is putrid.

Now we can all go back to our foxholes, stick our heads in the sand and pretend its 1979 again.

The big wakeup call will come when we don't get a lot of kids drafted this year. don't believe the crap coming out of the mouth of the talent manager - the standard in WA isn't keeping pace with other parts of the country. Hell, Daniel Curtin was our best hope last year and he can't get a game for the crows and they won't make finals

the old cupboard has never been so bare
