I checked the online score upon returning home and saw East Fremantle had the league match in the bag. Apparently 20,000 pre-match tickets were sold, maybe an attendance of 25 thou? A good team effort to win the clubs 30th premiership.
Well done to Swan Districts and Claremont winning their respective grand finals.
The twenty 23 footy season comes to a close. Enjoy the off season everyone

Geez calling out Mandurah for being weak,is a bit of a slight on the EF effort yesterday, plus a dig at the Subi boys for getting rolled twice by Mandurah in the finals and other teams throughout the season.

TBH, weak is  not applauding the efforts of the GF winning team , irrespective of the obvious innate dislike for that side. Plenty of good players in that Mandurah team, that would be first 22 in other opposition teams.

Have to agree with you there Freeze, weak is a bit harsh. Like I said a few weeks ago, old easts are a 5-10 goal better team than the rest, chuck in a few dockers to peel and you guys are about a 5 goal better team than them and you are at least 10 goals better than the other 8 sides. Congratulations on a great win

Far bit of sour grapes by some on here, Peelmantle looked bad because EF made them look bad, Peelmantle by any measure were formidable opponents, but made to look less so by a disciplined, composed, focused well coached outfit.

One can expect the WAFC to increase the allowance of AFL players for Peel next year, seems they cant win a flag unless 15-17 listed players are included.

In fairness SS.Peel and Freo just get on with the job of playing,Wafl footy.
They dont mone and grown like Weat Coast do.
Granted Peel are a proper club and Wcer are a shell of a club.
Another 5 Dockers players might of been to much for EF..
Apart from Hamling and Collier.None of the Freo players stood up to the game ,pressure. Could bE Afl career ending for some Docker listed players.

couldn't care less what some East Fremantle supporter thinks 
Mandurah players showed very little heart and got what they deserved
