subi will not be too strong mate, under the system we could not even play the whole zone. Nor would we be able to recruit the following: Hall, Ambrose, Pickett, Vines, Heatley, Sinclair to name a few. Keep in mind, also, that when the 'monts' did the 'alignment' for a year, the club missed the finals. Let us go back to 8 teams and 21 games. There is not enough talent in the state to have a nine, or even, an eleven team league as some seem to want. We can always send teams to Rushton Park each year as well, as indeed, the Demons and South did in the 1980s.

Freo/Peel are a great Wafl club.2 Flags and always competitive. Can't see why the WCEr can't be like Peel.

Since when have the Dockers been a WAFL Club? and how many then current AFL players did Peel play in those grand finals? The 2 flags should not be credited to Peel. They should be flying those things at the ARC.

Alignments with traditional WAFL clubs don't work, apart from EP who's alignment flags are tarnished by all except some of the Feral faithful, It didn't work at Souths or Claremont. It works at Peel as they don't have a history but they do have ressies and colts to draw players from, something WCER don't have, hence when WC AFL have a horrific run of injuries we get what we got for the last few years. WCER have made the finals when their AFL masters are fit and well, so lets wait and see what improvement is made once WC get their fitness regime worked out. WC alignment with Perth would work as Perth have ressies and colts, but it's not going to happen, not with the protections in their constitution plus they are quite financial.
As to your question Ti Em, Peelmantle had 16 & 17 listed players in those 2 premiership teams, so only 6 & 5 locals, plus many of those Freo players were far from AFL duds. Mzunga, Suban, DeBoer, Yarran, Tucker, Blakely. langdon, Deluca, Griffin, Clarke to name a few, plus a 19 to 6 free kick count helped their cause. Am I bitter about it ... F**k yeah.

SS: you find another way to get rid of Peel and I will support it. The position at PFC is different from what you suggest: there has to be two-thirds support, something which is not impossible.
