the WAFc have come out and stated that umpires cannot do their job if they have to bounce the ball in the centre and magically we will have vastly better standards of decisions seeing it has been removed from history and the stress involved gone
Seriously every window at WAFC HQ must have swine sized holes in them and I wonder if they actually know they are the absolute laughing stock of Aussie Rules
Incompetantcy shown also by their website which has been openly neglected for many years and that is the face of their business like it or not
It's a jobs for friends organisation that lost touch with reality decades ago and has far too many gravy train dwellers residing in a largely hidden protected environment
 

$18 to go to a game of WAFL is not good promotion!

Good suggestion in the Sunday times: start of each quarter is a bounce. No recalls . After that throw it up. Only 1 umpire has to be able to bounce a footy. That way you get the theatre.

Entry Price Increase an absolute downer in these tough economic times, a great way to put people off, Gate Takings are so small now, why bother EFFC are getting rid of entry fees altogether, no secret WAFL fans are older pensioners, and mainly battlers that like to go along as a cheaper easier option to AFL, no Budget., well the last one was so small and the print so tiny it was terrible but better than nothing I guess.

Old WAFL logo back but website is cheap and crap, took ages to find the League Fixture and info and whole page is dominated by womens stuff.

want more ppl to go to the wafl so they increase the prices

and now we get WAFL TV advertisement - where the bloody hell has this been and why hasn't it been in place for the last 15 to 20 years ?
This current set at WAFC need to be eradicated from football entirely and replaced - preferably with people who have at least one live braincell and who have knowledge of WA football
That stale , deliberately ignored & long since dead website has quickly turned into a gaudy pile of absolute garbage - and the sick part is that it still doesn't function

Sorry but for all of its failings at least there is some action to put the WAFL out in the public domain. Perhaps it will attract folk perhaps it won't but something is better than nothing!

dear friend it is the damned if you don't here and has been for many years -  the WAFC have had the means & reason to do this many years ago - it would have been about 15 years or so ago that the WAFC put it on the clubs themselves to promote and at the time there were many clubs who voiced strong concern around that given the dwindling funds , these funds have since been cut into as well
 

Agree Southerner but also agree with Grump, at least they are finally doing something on the promo side, so lets see how that works out before condemning them. But the price increases and the hopeless website are just lazy management.
