After we finally get some fresh air with the grand final now being played the week after the AFL, we will have all this AFLW crap taking up all the news stories.

 

It was said at the PFC lunch last Saturday that there will be another bye again in the final four rounds. If I heard correct I believe 6 August. 

Yes D there will be I believe. Round 16 or 17 will be another Bye.

Pathetic by the WAFL that at this stage of the season there is still no clarity around the run home fixtures. Many players, clubs, supporters and volunteers are affected by these dates being released, sort ya shit out!!!

WAFL world had one of the clowns on the show last week and their excuse is waiting for the AFL and AFLW to release their fixture first, so they can work ground allocation around them. 

Bloody ridiculous isn't it. There is no clarity on the fixtures after 23rd July which is only 2 weeks away. Clubs seem to have been told ( eg someone from Swans posted their fixtures on here)  but no official announcement. As you said club volunteers players and supporters deserve better.

Round 15 - Claremont - 30th July
Round 16 - bye - 6th August
Round 17 - West Coast 13th August
Round 18 - East Fremantle - 20th August
Round 19 - West Perth - 27th August
Round 20 - Peel Dockers - 3rd September
Minor finals would then be played on the 10th, 17th and 24th September with the Grand Final on the 1st October

I wasn't going to post comment on the AFL product out of respect for opportunities but bugger it - it's a bad indictment when a 140 year old league is held up by another "league" which is just that appalling in quality or skill it is even funny nor remotely interesting
I can't work out why that rubbish isn't being played at AFL training grounds (Lathlain No 2 or Cockburn) instead of fouling up our grounds

It has got me stumped why we are having another bye each over a spilt round a month after having just had one for the WAFLW GF.
We also had a week off for the State Game, so essentially we are having 3 byes in a season which is 2 too many in my books.
Back in the day we would play 21 rounds of H&A without a week off at all, sometimes with a couple of mid week State Games thrown in for good measure.

What’s been the hold up?  Anyone said why?  If it’s too hard to work out, we’ve got things called computers nowadays.
