Can any of the learned OzFooty folk out there confirm that Mal Brown is the only man to have coached four WAFL clubs, namely East Perth (1970-73), Claremont (1975-76), South Fremantle (1978-84, 1992) and Perth (1985-87)?
I can't think of anybody else who's coached four clubs, but my memory isn't as sharp as it used to be and I may have overlooked an obvious one.
Many thanks in anticipation.

Archie can we extend that to players who have played at the most WAFL clubs? I can think of three who played for Perth who played at multiple clubs.

Chris Maguire I think had played at SF and Subi before he came to us then finished his career at Swans. That’s 4 clubs.

Llane Spaanderman started at EP, then drafted by Brisbane, I think went back to EP when delisted before ending up at Swans then found his way to us. 3 clubs

Chris Stasinowsky. Started at WP, moved to SF then follows Mal Brown to Perth. 3 clubs.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

I'm not sure if he played a Senior game but Chris Maguire definitely played at EF as well

Chris Maguire started at EF Colts/Reserves.
Then went to Perth played League there around 1994.
Moved to Swans in 1995 where he played League also.
Had a crack at SF, SU & possibly EP from memory without playing League footy.
Then went to Armadale in the SFL for about 5 years.
Came back to the WAFL at Perth around 2003.
Then moved back to SD for 2005/06.
Not sure after that........but he had a few clubs.

DD, while on three-plus-club players, the name Hayes immediately springs to mind - twice!
John "Irish" Hayes played for East Perth (two stints), Claremont and South Fremantle (and he had a season with West Adelaide in 1975).
However, Hayes was coached by Mal Brown for four of his 11 years at EP (1970-73), one of his two seasons at Claremont (1976), and his two years at SF (1983-84).
I suspect there are very few players who've been coached by the same man at three separate clubs (Ron Barassi coaching Brent Crosswell at Carlton, North Melbourne and Melbourne springs to mind).
Then we have the case of EP's 1919 premiership wingman William John "Billy" Hayes, who reportedly  represented five of eight possible clubs during his decade-plus, 132-game career.
Hayes began at West Perth in 1908, had two years at North Fremantle (1909-10), returned to the Cardinals between 1911 and 1915 (though he missed the 1914 season), went to Midland Junction for two seasons (1916-17), and had two years with the Royals.
His last match in the blue-and-black was the 1919 Grand Final before switching to East Fremantle for one final season (1920).
