TFAF, the Rodriguez Shield tells you all need to know about the imbalance in the WAFL. You have given the figures for 35 years, since the Eagles came in. EF won their 3 in the late 90s, when they were a power team. Since then, they have gone into decline. EP won theirs in 2000, which doesn't count because it was an alignment year. After that, the last time a club other than SF, S or C won it was WP in 2002. So 3 clubs have shared it over 19 years. In that same time, at least one of those clubs has played in 18 grand finals, 2 of them have played each other in 9, and they share 14 of the last 18 flags. Obviously this is not cyclical, it is deeply entrenched inequality. 

Returning to the OP. Glad I was not the only disappointed soul out there!  If that is the best that can be done in our so called "modern day and age", we are in deep, deep trouble! And no amount of stupid excuses will help.
