This might not much to some but the EP group had a get together this morning just to touch base, have talk abt colts, the club in general and just a natter. Couple cold ones and cheese and bikkies helped.

I was sadd to hear that both the Perth Group and SF group have withdrawn from the Combined PP for reasons of committee dislikes (as it was told to us).

Now me I don't have anything to do with the Combined and have asked repeatedly to be taken off the mailing list BUT it seems that the decisions (again as relayed to me ) was a unilateral decision by some committee members in these clubs.

The ramifications are quite important but for me it is the restriction for the 1/2 time get together..

WHY!

Whilst a member of the PFC PP&OA am not all that close to it.
I think I heard something about it last season.
Best speak to Kochy or Brian Sweetapple.

Sorry Grump but I know that from PFC point of view we did a FULL background check on all EPFC PPOA member’s crim records etc etc and there were some things on there that we just COULD NOT TOLERATE. Rather than being seen as CONDONING this behaviour we had to break off all ties.

We spoke to Elijah’s lawyer about it and he agreed.

You really are fuck wit and scum

You have to have brains to know something.
Sadly you know nought.
So how many brains do you have?
The answer is staring you in the face.

Grump. Below is from an email from the Perth past players in October last year.

"From the PP&OA’s point of view, this year brought about some changes as to how we operated, due to the Covid-19 restrictions. It gave us the opportunity to review certain matters going forward which we believe will be for the better.

Our half-time functions were necessarily restricted to Perth PP&OA members only, leading to a more comfortable and relaxed atmosphere in the Rovers Lounge. The visiting clubs acknowledged this arrangement, particularly as we undertook not to attend functions at away games.

We are looking at possibly continuing this practice into the future and also becoming more at arms length from the regimented Combined PP&OA which we believe has become somewhat irrelevant."

Back to the present day and at our AGM a couple of weeks ago it was decided that we would be moving away from the combined past players and that the organisation had annoyed a lot of clubs with the way they were running things.
