With two rippers on the cards , they go for EF v SD ..WTF?

The two obvious ones are Su v Joondy & Perth V SF. Maybe they needed to even up the number of broadcasts per team plus 3 of those 4 teams will be in finals and be on the TV next week. Should boost the crowds at both games though.

yes the obvious choice for a TV game would have been either WP v S or P V SF but its all about the AFL. With the Dockers playing on Saturday Channel 7 have determined that they want the televised WAFL game on Sunday. To shift one of the games involving contenders to Sunday could have potentially disadvantaged teams in the running for finals games the next week ( i.e. one less days rest than potential opponents) so then its down to two teams whose season will be over after this weekend and it doesn't matter when they play.
Thats the logic I think but who knows?

P v SF is being live streamed by Front Row Screens. They do a pretty good job too

LH: the thing which gets me about the coverage is that PFC are always shown against S and SD, season after season; in fact, as far back as Waterman's day at the club, the cameras trotted out to Laithlan Park.

Nah not the last game of the season, should be more nuanced than showing the cellar dwellers cup when the race is on for finals.
