I just saw this on the WAFL site, that is ridiculous when every other game has been on a Saturday. It is not a televised game because the Eagles and Dockers are not playing on that day. No apparent reason for this.
Just saw the post which said it is the televised game. Now my question is why show a match that has no interest to anyone other than the supporters of both clubs and means nothing as far as the finals are concerned and why make the players turn out on Sunday to suit a TV schedule? Yes I know TV pays the bills but it still sucks anyway.

Mikeh, my guess is that Channel 7 are only allowed to broadcast a set amount of AFL games per round and wont have any games on the Sunday. The other clubs maybe didn't want to be disadvantaged for the finals by playing on the Sunday. Can't see it being a ratings winner.

Yep, Dockers are on 7 on Saturday arvo from 2.30 to 5pm. WAFL broadcast match is EF v Swans on Sunday.
