East Freo and Claremont done so far. Both very strong teams. Not sure who'd win out of those two teams but Subi's dominance would be over for sure, I'd say.

But Subi train harder - so subi still on top. I don't know why they don't ban Subi from training - now that is equalization. You can get all those players back at East Freo we would probably still slide down the ladder. We could get Rob Wiley back to coach them.

Big call but I doubt East Freo or Claremont have ever put teams of that strength on the park before. The AFL is so competitive it has lifted standards. Would prefer to see these Wafl teams every week than watching the same players in the AFL on tv. But i suppose tv had driven the improvement in talent development to a degree.

You could get Buffalo to coach them. He could tell all the AFL players that he would have played them half bank flank to make sure they were drafted. If some were contracted elsewhere, Buffalo would just say don’t worry about that, I’ll get around it.

If they are AFL players why would they need to be drafted - they have already been drafted? And considering they all come from our zones i don't think Buffalo would have to sully his reputation and do that. But if one did slip through the net and it turns out he is a very good player Buffalo could just entice that player back by offering to pay him more money. Maybe the other club would be too stupid to up their price.

East Perth and South the other teams done so far, they were fairly unimpressive on paper compared to East Freo and Claremont, looking forward to seeing the remaining four traditional wafl clubs.

I posted the SD team for them to copy and paste last week with currently 20 afl listed players so god knows why they went for SF & EP with only half and a qtr of that respectively this week but it is the West we are talking about after all!

I went through the team a couple weekends ago and was going to publish them, but I didn’t bother in the end - I thought I’d leave that to someone else, fortunately the west have picked it up, unfortunately it’s behind their paywall so hardly anyone can see the teams.

For memory only EF, Claremont and Swans had around 20 currently listed AFL players the others would struggle,SF had a decent number and decent WAFL players, Subi with their WAFL players would be ‘topped’ up quite well. I struggled to find a enough for Peel, Perth, East Perth and West Perth

Buddy (sydney), Deven (Brisbane), Stack (Richmond), O'Mera (Hawks), Fisher( blues) for the Dees

We Did have 6 playing in the 2015 GF, with Johnson, Mayne, Tendai and Buddy or was it only 5, Batemen may have been the 6th
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

You mean 2013 GF? That’s 4. I don’t recall Bateman playing in that game I’m guessing was retired from AFL and playing for Perth then.

Add Elijah Taylor (Sydney), Quinton Narkle (Geelong) and Dean Kent (St Kilda) to current Dees playing in AFL 9 all up.
Franklin (Sydney)
Fisher (Carlton)
Stack (Richmond)
O’Meara (Hawthorn)
Robertson (Hawthorn)
Mayne (Collingwood)
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.
