Here we go again, another week closer to the finals and we are all starting to get a picture of who are contenders and who are pretenders.

Ocean Ridge v Wanneroo

I was going to say this was game of the round, however I'll save that for another game. Both these made finals last year and Wanneroo we beaten at this very ground and will be looking to make amends for last years final loss. Meanwhile Onion Ridge haven't started the season as they would have liked, lose this game and they slip to 1-4. I don't like to make big calls, but surely Heathridge oval is the worst ground in the WAAFL. Based on from in going with Wanneroo.
Roos by 2 goals

Kelmscott v Kingsway MOTR

This promises to be a good game. Kelmscott will need a win, a loss could mean they fall 2 games behind 1st and 2nd, whilst Kingsway will be looking to keep there unbeaten start to the season alive. I'm thinking is going to be tough hard and physical game, especially at John Dunn where it can become a mud pit. Kingsway to continue the good start.
Teal Roos by 2 goals

Kingsley v Gosnells

Can anyone shed some light on what is happening down at Kingsley? Is wearing the same colours as Melbourne having that affect?. There demotion from B grade hasn't gone well so far sitting near the bottom with 0 wins. Gosnells have had a good start since coming up from C2. I think the woes for Kingsley will continue.
Gosnells 6 goals

Melville v Coolbinia West Perth

Another good game this weekend. Melville have had 2 losses so far, can they get enough wins to stay in the hunt before the Panda returns. CWP are going well having 2 wins so far. Big game for both teams who are wanting to play finals. Since Melville play there Auskick ground well I'll go with them.
Melville by 4 goals

Thornlie v Lynwood Ferndale

Thornlie have had a disappointing start to season 2013, and my tip of them being relegated isn't looking to far out of the equation. They are a proud football club so I'm sure they will bounce back. Lynwood smashed Kingsley round 1 but have lost the last 2 by 5 goals. Most teams come out the week after a 90 point beating and play tough. So I think Thornlie will do just that.
Thornlie by 3 goals.

Good luck to all, feel free to join in some banter with me. Remember Mr Mysterious is watching you..

John Dunn can become a mudpit, Melville is an auskick ground, but Heathridge is the worst in the WAAFL. You've got to be joking.

I write a 300 word text on this weekends game you pick out one little line, when I said I feel free to join in the banter I didn't mean on one line. However my comment was based on the fact that, from a supporters point of view it's not great. The club rooms are 200 metres away from the ground, not enough shelter, just overall don't like going there. Disagree on the above?

Doesn't seem to be many grounds you are a fan of Mr Mysterious!! Maybe you could post a list of your favourite grounds?

Ocean Ridge v Wanneroo
Roos by 3 goals but Ocean ridge did clean them up every time they played last year

Kelmscott v Kingsway MOTR
Kingsway looked good on the weekend with a few handy additions from Stirling but they did start 4-0 last year only to drop right off. Haven't seen Kelmscott yet but I am tipping Kingsway by 3 goals!!

Kingsley v Gosnells
Gossies to do a number on Kingsley and make them an early relegation favourite.

Melville v Coolbinia West Perth
Battle of the only teams in the league that aren't in zone 5. Rams need a win to get back in the hunt and im tipping the will get the job done.
Melville by 4 goals

Thornlie v Lynwood Ferndale
The only positive for Thornlie at the moment is their colts, Lynwood by 4 goals.

Will post a report on the Melville vs CWP game.

Thanks for joining in CyberHawk. Of grounds I've played at I'd say the worst is East Fremantle oval.
A list of the worst ovals IMO are
East Freo
Heathridge
Warnbro
My mates backyard

John Dunn isn't a mudpit in the middle of summer, oh wait we play footy in winter. Melville is probably the biggest oval out there, for an auskick ground. Health ridge is definitely the best oval out there, if your aim is to have multiple rolled ankles on each team every time you play there.

could be worse mate, could play at universitys home ground your warm up consists of running to the oval from the change rooms

Righto c#nts, lets get this week going.....

Ocean Ridge v Wanneroo
The Ridge had the wood over roo roo roo Wanneroo last year knocking them off a few times including in an Elimination Final which was quite surprising considering they had a side full of blokes with possibly the worst skills on the planet. It seems Wanneroo's kids have come on a bit in the last 12 months and the Ridge has taken a few strides in the wrong direction. Although they usually play their gigantic oval pretty well, the Roo's should have a bit too much fire power up front. Not sure what is the go with every Wanneroo player letting out a high pitched Whhoooooooo after every score but it suggests to me they dont have a very good grasp on the English language as yet. Seriously boys, do something cooler like exploding knuckles or upside down peace signs......The girly scream isnt for you. Number 14 is possibly the biggest wank in the league. I got the impression in Round 1 his not that well liked at the club. Did lots of Whhoooing and celebrating by himself and had no mates during the warm down after the match. Roos by 12 goals.

Kelmscott v Kingsway
Kingsway were deplorable last year but seem to have improved while i dont know too much about their cheating opposition. Not too sure what kind of side Melville threw out there last week but by the looks of the score board the Rams were lucky it was that close. I've got no idea about the result here so im going to go with Kelmscott to be filthy with their start and get the cheque book out mid week to field a team full of ex WAFL players. This should get them over the line by a few goals

Kingsley v Gosnells
Kingsley stink. Gossy's are taking to C1 like a team that is serious about climbing the ranks. Rumours are they are taking the Kelmscott route, with a cheque book thicker than the spew i had in my hotel bed in Melbourne last week after having my drink spiked by a sexy african stripper. The only positive is the sexy african stripper was in the bed at the time. Gossy's by 20 goals

Melville v Coolbinia West Perth
Melville will love being back at home and it will be the second last game before the King comes back for his week off and a trot on the hollowed turf of Rams Stadium. Cooly had a good win in Round 1 and to be honest i dont know what they have done since. They had a few decent players last year but seemed to drop off badly in the 15-22 range. I havent had to much contact with the Rams faithful but this is a win they desperately need to get the season rolling. Sting to kick 8 and drive a 4 goal win

Thornlie v Lynwood Ferndale
Id rather be at work than watch this game. Wondering when we will hear from Thornlie's Footygoss brigade......Surely they cant be far away. Lynwood by 1000 points

Good luck lads......

And for those of you wondering what I've been up to lately...... This is me with Shaq. He is a cool guy.....still shit at Free Throws though.
