Also to add to your list hard ball the two Cockburn teams. Then you have rossmoyne and manning. Not a lot of travel in this comp that’s for sure.

Having a good look at the clearances it looks as though Piara Waters have recruited well. Any team that drops a grade would fancy themselves. They have great facilities, a vocal crowd and are my pick to win C4 this year.

The Cobras also have a fair few clearances and after everything they have been through will be hungry to taste the ultimate that was ripped away from them a few years ago. A big pat on the back to all involved down there for standing by their club during the tough times. I really hope they do well.

In the same boat is Noranda and again, well done to everyone who stuck by them. They have alot of players coming back to them by the looks of the clearances and will no doubt be in the mix. Good to see them back to two sides.

Forrestdale coming into C4 is a surprise to me but obviously the club has been doing some great work off the field. It will be interesting to see how they go but having a colts side will be a massive help for them.

All other things being the same you'd expect Noranda and Piara to do well with an influx of new or returning players. However the points system will cap the amount of returning players who've played elsewhere in any one game. So it will be interesting to see how these clubs manage this in C4.

Watched piara play on the weekend vs snesa for a team that has a lot of new players looked like a well trained team. If they continue that structure will be very strong team. Snesa looked very good with the ball through the middle definitely a team that may go far also. Will be a interesting year to say the least. Anyone else seen scratch matches yet?

WOW some pretty bold calls on a couple of teams moving up the ladder in C4, Piara is the team to beat with the 2 cockburn teams being next in line. bottom 2 probably Manning and armadale for me

Good to see some feedback on the grades, no too much chat about other grades going on.

Some big calls on Piara Waters being the favorites this year. League side didn't win a game last year, they have recruited well but the points system in place will be interesting for them.

Noranda and Forrestdale will also be interesting to see how they go with the points system in place and coming up from E grade.

Cockburn lakes and Rossmoyne will be up there after a successful 2018.

Cobras, Manning, Noranda and Piara Waters to fight it out for the remaining spots in the top 5.

Remaining clubs just making up the numbers and don't see them competing for a top 5 berth.

Wooden Spoon prediction - Armadale

While I agree sides have recruited well especially Piara Waters, it could be interesting to see how all sides in all grades fit all their recruits into their league teams each week.

Will the reserves sides become a stronger comp, or will players return to their old clubs if they are playing C3 and C4 Reserves?

I think its a watch this space for all clubs and the sides that adapt best will be the ones that come out on top.
