Just maybe you were just beaten by a better team on the day that gave away less free kicks. The term sore looser comes to mind. Better luck next year.

I was at the game and can confirm that the umpires were very inconsistent not sure if they were club umpires or not but based on the performance you would think so

i noticed former peel & brisbane lions player james hawksley didnt play last week but did yesterday....did he have an impact?

All 3 umpires were panel and thought the Hawk had an averave game, got beat a couple a times.

Well done to DM and the season they have had, coming up from C3 is never easy but too remain competitive and make it this far is a great accomplishment. I do agree that if you did happen to make it through to c1 chances it would of been a tuff season. But know doubt you will bounce back hard next year and be right up there once again.
To warnbro, well...... it’s about bloody time. Have always been in the finals race the last couple of years but I guess just lacked that polish, the ressies have always been strong for a number of years now and personally think will do well against some of the c1 sides. Set the bench mark all year for teams and I’m still tipping you to win the big one next week.
The awards night tonight, should see Magsy from HW poll well and be right up there, some of the DM midfielders along with ridge and warnbro will also be right up there. In the ressies, the valley players also poll very well but with the quality of Ridge and warnbro around I think the votes will go that way.
