will watch this game with interest as i remember they were one and one last year with basso giving quinns a touch up at home so will be good to see if basso has declined or quinns has improved agreed it could be a decisive game this early

Quinns will be no surprise with players the calibre of Mark Gilhome (State Country & UGSFL F & and Steel Morelle they are a class above playing C2

Some interesting results so far. Basso get belted by c3 premiers by 10 goals but only lise to last yrs c2 prelim finalist by 7 points.

Quinns smash two sides by 20goals

Snesa 2-0

Kenwick last yrs 5th place 0-2
Basso 4th in 2012 0-2
Swan valley 0-2
And mosman park after coming down from c1 and everyone thinking they would go well yet to win a game also. Goes to show a lot can happen in the off season and it is hard to judge a club going by their results the yr before. Player movements, new coaches etc are playing a big factor by the looks of things

Agree and I think there could be a different look at the ladder this year vs last year. Still a long way to go but if you want to be in finals then you need some early wins. Heard Basso picked up extra players from Noranda ( I think) so you would of thought they would be as strong unless they have lost a few also. I think the new coach is also from Noranda and has a good footy brain. Needs a rabbit out if the hat this weekend I think.

Canningvale - only signs of things to come with the massive junior pool they have. they'll be knocking on A grades door in no time.
Good to see Gosnells and Lynwood doing alright early in the next grade - hope for us all.
