I have heard that a certain supposed merger may have hit a snag and is now unlikely to proceed.

Have been hearing this on and off for a few weeks now.

"Understand" that lease of a certain ground has been renewed for another 5 years.

My understanding is that it wasn’t voted in by one of the clubs and the current conditions will ensure that it won’t be.

Only merger that has been talked about has been piara and maddington

do tell guys, what have you heard?

I heard that the certain ground was going to be booked for 5 years due to the new merged club having 5 sides so would make sense to use both facilities giving them 3 ovals.

Not heard anything else though so assuming it's still on?

I have only heard about one of the two clubs involved but understand that the circumstances around their original vote made it invalid. From what I have heard, they didn't follow the required procedure and the vote didn't get the numbers to pass. A new vote will be required and from what I am hearing, it is extremely unlikely to pass.

Screw in stud, stop talking in riddles, which club have you heard didn't follow the required procedures for the vote to gain numbers?

What about Quinten Lynch as a player coach?
I heard he did F all coaching in 2016 when he was "head coach", and didn't play the first half of this year because TA's couldn't afford to give him the same amount of money to play.
