5 games to go and the ladder is still unbelievably tight - only 2 points and 2.11% separates the top 4 sides. 5th spot is still up for grabs with Piara, Cottesloe & Belmont all on a knifes edge to see who gets it and down the bottom 3 sides are on 4 wins with only one of them likely to be relegated. As Freekick would say, Woweee

Belmont won last time and are gunning for the 5, they are the sort of side that could slot into the finals at 5 and go all the way the the big dance. In the way is the Dianella juggernaut, coming off an easy win against Brentwood and looking at keeping the chasing pack at bay. They are looking the goods and you would expect them to win here. Raiders to win.

Manning (9th) v Coolbinia (8th)
Rd 6 - Coolbinia 9.11-65 lost to Manning 14.9-93
Match of. the round. The winner of this game would pretty much be safe from relegation unless something extraordinary happen, makes it such an important game. An undermanned Rippers fell away against the Eels in the 2nd half while from all accounts the Bombers blew CWP away easily. Both sides need to regroup and fast. CWP lost last time but I'll pick them here.

Snesa (2nd) v Cottesloe (6th)
Rd 6 - Cottesloe 6.9-45 lost to Snesa 8.15-63
The loss to MP on the weekend has put the Roosters finals hopes in peril - 5 weeks left means you can't afford to drop these games. Snesa got an 11% boost against Piara on the weekend and would be hoping for another strong showing at home. With finals secured, a top 3 finish has to be the aim for them now. Snesa to win.

Mosman (3rd) v Brentwood (10th)
Rd 6 - Brentwood 13.2-80 defeated Mosman 9.5-59
The Bulldogs look to be the team that's going to be relegated with their tough run home. They need to sneak a couple of wins in to give themselves a chance but I reckon away at MP's home ground it will be too hard. Mosman keep on winning and that's all you need to do at this time of year. With their big advantage I can't see them allowing this one to slip. Mosman Park to win.


Ellenbrook (4th) v Piara (5th)
Rd 6 - Piara 17.9-111 defeated Ellenbrook 13.10-88
Really not sure what to make of Piara - they can be one of the best sides going around but are currently on a 5 game losing streak. Not sure whether they are keeping an eye on next year (with Maddington looking like staying in B Grade) but this season is slipping away fast - they are in danger of missing the finals and from where they have been for such a long time, that's not good. They ran over the Eels last time and will be looking to do the same this week. Last week at the EDOS it was a dour affair with Manning still in the game at half time before succumbing in the 2nd half. Hopefully some of the water from this weeks rain drains off but I have a feeling it will be a heavy deck. Ellenbrook to win.

Freekick = Light street Kid confirmed. Look at the spelling and the shit he puts on other teams. He said DM should of beating Manning by 100 points with the rings they ran around them? DM were only up by 5 at halftime. Now he tells us Belmont didnt want any of it? Losing by 3 goals to the league leaders is a fantastic effort. Just fuck off if you not putting anything positive into the forums.. AGAIN.

Think you are correct SS. Nothing he said is right. Belly boys were good all day. Whilst dm have alot out, to go down to top team by a few gls is a Stellar effort considering their start to 2017

Wow woo wee wow

Belmont started off the game really good with the first couple of goals & really let Dm know that they are here to play But it seemed that Dm would always kick a goal against the flow of play & would keep in touch.

It was all Belmont the first half with a 2-3 goal lead at the main break. But that's when it all changed with Dm kicking 5 goals in the 3rd to Belmonts 0 goals which gave Dm a 1-2 goal lead going into the last.

Last quarter was an absolute dog fight with both teams going hard and both having a never say die attidude but Dm would hold Belmont off to take the points & stay on top.

Full credit to Belmont as they are a danger team for anyone, if they make the top 5 they will be a side that can do some damage.

Its crazy to think that whatever team in C3 gets relegated to C4 would probably of survived this year in C2!

1st time poster long time reader.

We getting to the business end of the league. Some good teams playing well.

I caught the Dianella game over the weekend. Boy what a game.

I have no affiliations wih these boys the dm in my name stands for Dennis.

Anyway caught the last few mins of the res game. Shout out to that lil nugget who held the ball in the last few secs of the game. Like he was holding a box of hot chips that ball was going no way.

On to league game wow what a comeback rain and all.

Some guns in both sides. But Dianella are firing. That young blonde kid with amazing hair wow ehat skills remnds me of a young Ablett jnr before he lost his hair. Gorgeous to watch.

The whole team is brilliant. As i stood there on the balcony having a coldie and some hot chips I couldn't help but think these boys could make a brilliant come back.

Looking forward to the game comin up with wend. I'll be on there havin a coldie and hot chips.
