Due to the quirk in the fixtures, everyone now gets to play the sides they played back in round 2, After this weekend we'll be 2/3 the way through the season and a few sides will know exactly where they are that.

Last time they met:

Mosman Park 14.13-97 lost to Dianella 15.9-99
CWP 18.9-117 defeated Brentwood 10.4-64
Manning 10.5-65 defeated SNESA 6.11-47
Ellenbrook 11.8-74 defeated Belmont 9.9-63

The current weather forecast is for 17 degrees with an 80% chance of rain - hopefully it all blows out before the weekend but it looks more likely than not it will be wet weather footy.

Cottesloe (6th) v Piara (5th)
6 points seperates these teams on the ladder and it basically comes down to 1 thing - if Cottesloe want to play finals, they MUST win this game. You can't be 2 1/2 outside the 5 with 6 games to play, it's near on impossible. The Roosters did give Dianella a run for their money last week and would be heading into this game full of confidence. Piara had a shock loss which puts them on a 3 game losing streak. The Falcons need to turn things around in a hurry or this season could be a write off - that's the last thing you want before heading up a couple of grades in the merger. I'll pick Cottesloe to win to keep the hunt for the top 5 interesting.

Dianella (1st) v Mosman Park (2nd)
Match of the round - after a tight finish last time and both coming off wins against other top 5 sides, this should be a cracker of a game. A win here to Dianella would basically ensure they finish top at the end of the home and away season, while for MP it would mean there is still a chance of getting it off them. Hard to go past DM at home so I'll pick the Raiders.

Brentwood (9th) v Coolbinia (10th)
What a crucial clash in the relegation race, especially if only 1 side is going down as it currently looks like. The Bulldogs had a good win on the weekend and can put themselves 8 points clear of CWP if they win here. The Falcons tried hard but couldn't match a below strength SNESA - not a good sign. It's make or break time for them, a loss signifies double relegation. Unfortunately, that's they way I think they are going - Brentwood to win.


SNESA (4th) v Manning (7th)
Manning are 2 games out of the 5 and only 1 game above 10th - every game is crucial to them now. SNESA are equal 2nd on points but with a lower % so must keep getting the wins to jump spots on the ladder and get the double chance. They did enough last week to get over the line, should welcome some players back this week and now have 3 home games in a row - things are looking up. The Saints to get their march on.

Belmont (8th) v Ellenbrook (3rd)
Last time it was a close game under lights with the Eels getting the points but the Bombers not far off. Belmont are coming off a good win after denting Manning's finals hopes and will hope to do the same this week. Ellenbrook are coming off a loss on the small MP ground and will look forward to the open spaces of Forster Park. Ellenbrook to win.

Piara to win and cott to start qualifying blokes in ressies from next week.

I'll back the mossie23 to win and local ambulance services to be on stand by if they do.

Ellenbrook should win but a danger game so not a time for complacency.
