Well pointed out there Mr.M. couple of surprise results this weekend which is always good to see for the competition unless of course your from those teams. As for Frank this past weekend, armageddon hit the household as the great "Man flu" ran thru his body so was unable to see any football.

As for my thoughts on results.

Swan Ath are a good team and in my opinion this result isnt exactly a surprise. Maybe with the ease in which they won is, but my guess is North freo wouldn't want to see them in about 10 weeks time.

Maddington getting the points over a dissapointing hamersley. Ive seen maddo this season a few times and there best football is definitely not too bad. There depth is an issue but clearly not this weekend, even there 2s won. Hamersley will need some results to go there way now as that 5th spot seems done for.

Wanneroo getting the choccies over the GT. Quite a tight game from all reports with one qtr of footy hurting collies. 2 losses now has them off the pack a little and will need to get sorted during the hardest part of there season, school holidays. Wanneroo will be dissapointed after last weeks effort but a wins a win and now to kelmy.

Kelmscott over kingsway ruined everyones weekend. Don't really know what to say ither than congrats to Mt Lawley for the fixtures working out well for them. Fingers crossed things return to as they were asap for the sake of the comp and the teams that have to play them. Nonetheless real ordinary by Kingsway in both grades and will need to bounce back.

Mt Lawley doing a dirty on the saints. It looked like a long day for stirling and now with maddo winning and kelmscott winning they are going to need to pull 2 wins out from somewhere and hope maddo dont surprise anyone else. The hawks back into that 5th spot but we won't know how good they actually are until they play some better teams.

Anyway if anyone has some more ideas on other games let the everyone know. Keep the bants rolling

Well well well I just heard a little whisper tunnelling down the Tonkin. These kelmscott wins are more sweet and sour than uncle Chongs Chinese shop at kelmscott village.
Let me recount Saturday morning I was casually sitting under the bridge enjoying a bit of Netflix and casually checking my xnxx subscription when I heard the kelmscott bus chugg past with a few familiar faces. One of them threw a dirty milkshake out at my front door well ok my card board flap. I quickly bunny hopped the Datsun after them and followed them up to kingsway after I broke down twice I didn't get there until the start of the league side. That's when my intelligence kicked in.

Not one, not two but three more unregistered players......

I'm thinking Gandalf either has a big set of hairy metal balls or his players put on the best disguises an he can't tell if they are registered.

I'll let the rest of you make your own assumptions but I bet you half me house and my collection of marvel super discs there be a bit of news on this in the next couple of days.

Honk twice on the honky Tonk
Peace out
LOCKED UP WITH BUBBA
HONK TWICE ON THE HONKY TONKY

Always a good day travelling out to the Showgrounds and the banter the locals provide.

Great electronic scoreboard at the showgrounds, but someone needs to tell Wanneroo that if they are going to have a count down timer on the scoreboard, the siren needs to sound at the correct moment, not 5 seconds late to allow a Wanneroo mark inside 50,: had no effect on the result but a humorous incident nonetheless.

3rd quarter won the game for Wanneroo, an even contest otherwise. but don't think either side can go deep into the finals.

Light travels faster than sound Colonel Klink. Perhaps your eyes deceived you.

Phil if what you are saying is true Kelmscott should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute. They must have some $$$ though as the sanction for playing an unregistered player is $1000.

The siren must be a long way away from the boundary at Wanneroo Mr M?

Didn't a coach get suspended for 12 months last year for knowingly playing unregistered players under false names?

Surely the Amateurs have to step in here and bring this farce to an end. The Amateurs had no hesitation in making Kelmscott forfeit round 1 in A Grade last year while they got their paper work in order. That forfeit most likely cost Kelmscott its A grade status. I wonder if the Amateurs would sit idly by if these events were unfolding in A Grade. The 2017 B Grade season is being compromised.

Well well well seems the bloke that was the big difference in the kelmscott win on the weekend wasn't actually allowed to play ( questions were asked on gamday!!) which has resulted in them losing the points for the 3rd time this year by playing unregistered players - surely now the waafl has to act against this mob who are literally taking the p155 out of the comp week to week.

Chooka must be in the know as I thought he would have been on here sprinkling about the win

You'd think the WAAFL have to do something about this.

Not only does it impact the B Grade competition by manipulating teams percentage which could impact ladder positions come finals time but it also impacts the B Reserves comp. Would Kingsway have beaten Kelmscotts Reserves if Kelmscott had played a legitimate league team?

If you're a Kelmscott player interested in playing for a club that has a hope of winning 4 points in 2017 you'd be applying for a clearance out before June 30.

As my user name suggests I am not on the Amateurs mailing list but if there is not an email in the inbox of each of the B grade club presidents in the very near future explaining what has been happening and more importantly what the plan is for the remainder of season you have to wonder what is going on down at Amateur Headquarters. It's one thing to take administrative action its another to protect the integrity of the competition.
