I hope this is wrong.

I'm not fussed personally if Grades have to be combined, but I would be very disappointed if that many Clubs cannot come up with Colts teams.

Such a situation does not bode well for the future of football.

Time for Clubs to be working much more closely with their affiliated Junior Clubs, and if they are not affiliated with any, get it done - and very soon.

The colts situation is tough one. All we can do is keep encouraging senior clubs to link up with juniors clubs and show that the WAAFL and our clubs are a great place to play footy.

On C2 - should be another good season. The last 5-6 years there's always been a couple really struggle but the rest are competitive. Who really knows but I expect a really even comp and by that I mean no one struggling to win games

There is no chance that nollamara will have a colts team, their junior club folded about 3 years ago and the other closest club to them is Kingsway, and i cant see kids leaving Kingsway B Grade Colts to go play C2 for Nollamara.

I've heard whispers out of the kennel that is High Wycombe that they may not have enough players for 2 sides and are maybe pulling a side out. Wonder what's happening over there as it wasn't long ago they were a B grade club. Very sad for all if this is true.

If thats the case Guess Who would that then make them an e1 side?

So after a long preseason we finally get to dust off the match day boots and battle it out for winners piss in only one weeks time. Very interested to see how the first few rounds play out as the ladder starts to form.
