I think "the Senior team" might be the redeeming point here? Swan Views League side hasn't forfeited yet, so may mean they are required to go down to the 1 side 'E' grade division next year? As Block Yole listed from the By-Laws "not permitted to re-nominate that team for the following year". And that they haven't been able to field a Colts side doesn't bode well, let's hope that Swan View can put some things in place to halt this slide.

what that rules means is basically

If a club has three forfeits in one year with any team (usually reserves) then that club isn't allowed to nominate a reserves team for next year.

As saddles has said below if in this instance Swan View has three forfeits in the reserves this year then next year they will have to go back to a 1 team comp, re build and come back up through the grades starting at C4 when they have the numbers to prove to the association they can field two team again.

This is always an issue when sides go up based on league performances, yet their reserves have struggled the year before. This is compounded as saddles says if these clubs don't have colts to help out. It could be a few tough years for swan view if this is the case, lets hope they players and members there get behind the club and work through the hard times, not walk away for the easier option

It's all agreed that swan view will finish bottom. If that's the case they will go back to c3 and can have league and reserves. They can't nominate in the SAME grade. Similar thing happened to Maddington about 4-5 years ago with ressies in "A" grade also thier colts ended up forfeit and needed to have a letter to the league to state they'll definitely have both side the following year or cop the relevant fines and sanctions. Im sure Swan view are doing their best and have recently appointed a new president. Time will tell where they end up I suppose

They can't nominate the team nor the same grade. Both not just grade.
