Great day down at the kennel for the kelmscott football club. With reserves having a good crack at a team in finals. as for the league game, reminded alot of ppl of the old sunday league days cars the whole way around the oval, club house packed, and the boys on the paddock put on a show hard, fast, running football
wesley curtin next week another tuff one for the league boys but definetly achieveble

we are blue we are white we are fkn dynamite

The only thing resembling old Sunday League from Kelmscott is the same cheque book. Disgrace of a club that the WAAFL is embarrassed to have in the finals

cowboy wrote: Absolute disgrace of an umpiring display in the league game. Obviously the umpires were intimidated by the cars parked around the oval. And this is from a neutral supporter

would you care to elaborate cowboy on what you mean by disgraceful?

I was at the Kelmscott game Yesterday. Don't support either team but from what I seen Kelmscott look the real deal. CBC looked like a bunch of front runners who couldn't handle the pressure.

Clearly some sour grapes on the issue redlegs and obviously wern't at the ground on saturday otherwise you would be agreeing with my sunday league comment, not to mention we finally find some form again due to getting a replacement coach and the old money chest nut is brought up, it gets bloody old after a while mate.

Bring on next week wesley curtin fingers crossed we will let our footy do the talking

I'd also like cowboy to elaborate as I seen a pretty normal day of umpiring not once did any cbc players I spoke 2 complained or even mentioned the umps as for the comment about the cars parked around the ground intimidated the umps WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN ?!?!?!

I caught some of the kelmscott cbc game yesterday wether the the umpiring was good or bad i did think it was consistent i thought both teams had there fair share of free kicks and for a change i thought the umpires let the boys play and didnt umpire it like a netball game
As for the two teams i thought CBC tried hard all day consistent across the park in personnel but no real match winners be interesting to know if cbc were at full strength ???
As for kelmscott they could be a scary proposition considering no dodd or donovan yesterday and i did hear some talk they had one or two other regular league players out yesterday theyve now won 4 straight going into a game against a wesley team that has lost 3 straight but wesley have the home ground advantage which im sure will make for a great elimination final
I think this years finals series shapes up as one of the most even in years with all 5 teams capable and each team has match winners and plenty of big game experience
Will lynchy lead TAs to premiership glory for the first time ???
Will lukey dwyer keep the uni train rolling for another year ??
Can CBC atone for a disappointing finals series last year and turn the tables ??
Can kris miller and wesleys big names stand up and change there momentum ???
Or will the oh so hated but talented kelmscott do the impossible from 5th and make history to win 3 grades in 3 years ????
To tight for me to pick but i do look forward to catching some great finals footy over the next few weeeks

Anyone know anything about welsy curtain looked a big threat all year but the last 3 weeks have been losses to nth beach cbc and west coast u would have thought they would have won 2 out of 3 if not all 3 games have they had injuries players away or simply just out of form ???
