finally get a little bit of time do put something up

the weekends results make the finals picture almost clear. the top 4 teams are locked into finals, the final spot is technically still up for grabs but for either Warnbro or Canningvale to take it they will need to win all their remaining games with healthy margins to boost their percentage and CWP will need to lose all their games. not impossible but their fixtures on the road home don't help them out a lot with Canning vale having Thornlie, Noranda and Brentwood and Warnbro having Mosman Park, High Wycombe and Noranda.

on the other end of the table the relegations are confirmed with Mosman park and Brentwood with a single win a piece going down to C3 next year.

this weekends games could go a long way to determining the finishing spots.

CWP 5th v Kenwick 2nd
last time: KR 17.12-114 def CWP 4.9-33
both teams have a lot to play for with a win securing CWP's finals and Kenwick trying to Firm a top 3 spot for the double chance. I think last time was an aberration for CWP I think they where missing players because their other games have been close. looking forward to a good contest.

BB 10th v CSP 8th
last time: CSP 12.14-86 def BB 8.7-55
this is a hard game to pick as both teams are now locked out of finals and in relegation respectively CSP can finish anywhere from 6th to 8th while brentwood can finish 9th or 10th. I'll take CSP

High Wycombe 4th v Noranda 3rd
Last time: Noranda 13.9-87 def HW 11.6-72
this should be a very close game with the winner gaining a game break in the top 3 and potentially becoming equal second if CWP can knock off Kenwick. both sides on their day I believe can beat any opposition flip of the coin but I'll take High Wycombe at home.

Thornlie v Canning Vale
Last time: CV 12.8-80 def by TL 16.11-107
Thornlie will be looking to continue their hold on top spot while Canning Vale are trying to keep their slim finals hopes alive. similar as much as I would like to see Canning vale win I think Thornlie will take this one comfortably.

Mosman Park v Warnbro
Last time: WS 12.13-85 def MP 9.13-67
this game might come down to want, Mosman park have nothing but pride to play for being locked in relegation while Warnbro can still mathematically make finals. I think Warnbro will take the win and keep their hopes alive

Nice right up clarko.
Norts has been bored all year So thought he'd get involved.
CWP vs kenwick - what are the royals advertising for a coach just before finals? Don't like that. CWP 9 points
BB vs CSP Tigers BWRC (but who really cares)
Dogs vs Hawks MOTR - winner takes third outright and keeps top spot chances alive. Loser needs luck to get the second chance. Should be a cracker . Draw
Thornlie best team by a little but possibly coming back to the pack. chocolate frogs Thornlie
MP vs Warnbro - thought warnbro would be a top 5 side this year. Still a chance but very unlikely.

Norts wishes everyone well this weekend

well that draw makes things very interesting.

Warnbro has kept their slim chances alive by winning over Mosman Park. they still need to win their remaining games against High Wycombe and Noranda and hope that CWP lose their games.

High Wycombe and Noranda couldn't decide who'd be outright third and remain locked with Noranda having a very slight percentage advantage. Noranda have Canning Vale and Warnbro to come and High Wycombe have Warnbro then Kenwick.

Kenwick's win over CWP along with the draw above puts a game and a half break between 2nd and third, 1 more win will lock in a top two finish the remaining two games are against Mosman Park and High Wycombe, for CWP it means they are still not guaranteed finals and with tough games against CSP and then Thornlie it could come right down to the wire.

CSP took the points against Brentwood but this game doesn't change the finals landscape at all. this game did change the ladder however with Brentwood moving up to 9th and CSP moving to 7th.

Thornlie have put Canning Vales slim finals chance to rest. not locked in first but half a game clear with Brentwood and CWP to go.

with the ladder being so tight & positions being decided possibly by percentage, it really makes me wonder what would have happened to the for & against if Mossy Park had not been taken from the field v's the dogs with 18 mins remaining to be played in there last encounter. I think if a President of a club can take his team from the park, that should constitute a Forfeit.

yep agree, def taking its toll on the doggies with what looks to be playing in a elimination final against cwp at home rather the second chance. But if your good enough you can do it finishing anywhere. Where I think the boys can do that.

There was a young fella on the ground struggling to breathe after being taking out by one of your players! What else do you expect them to do? Mossie Park had a bit of a rough trot of late

I agree. Considering what Mossie have dealt with in the past it was probably hard to see.

Yes HW are hard done by and most likely would have a slightly better percentage then Noranda at this stage. However there are still two games to go so it still might not be an issue.

At the risk of sounding insensitive dogs03 maybe let the season play out before bringing this up again.

He wasn't taken out, you make it sound like a crude act. He was involved in a collision whilst both players went for the ball, that happens in contact sport.

I am just saying that the rules need looking at, for a game to get called off by anyone bar the officials, it should not happen.

Sorry about worrying about 19 year old kid instead of a couple % points. Looking at the roster won't matter anyways.
